Zoey Deutch’s Facelift Trick on Talk Show Gets a Bit Too Real for Crowd

Zoey Deutch stunned a live audience with a facelift trick that looked surprisingly convincing. Zoey Deutch does a facelift in seconds and shocks Jimmy Fallon’s audience

Before beauty filters and viral transformation videos became a staple of social media, Zoey Deutch had already mastered a surprisingly effective makeover trick. The “Before I Fall” actress showed off the unusual talent during a March 2018 appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” While discussing her life and career, Fallon brought up a unique party trick that Deutch had apparently become known for. Curious to see it for himself, he asked her to demonstrate it for the audience.

Deutch agreed, though she made it clear that viewers should prepare themselves. “You’re never going to be able to unsee this,” she joked.

She then proceeded to alter different parts of her face one by one. First, she lifted her eyebrows and jokingly labeled the move “Botox.” Next came a mock nose job, achieved by holding her nose in a particular position. Finally, she adjusted her lips to create the appearance of added volume.

As she combined all three expressions, the transformation became increasingly dramatic. Within seconds, Deutch appeared to create the illusion of a tightly lifted face, prompting a mix of laughter and shock throughout the studio.

“They look terrified,” Deutch joked as she pointed toward the audience. The camera then cut to Questlove, Fallon’s longtime drummer, whose stunned expression accurately captured the mood in the room. Fallon could hardly contain his amazement. “That was unbelievable,” he exclaimed after the demonstration. “It’s the best thing I’ve ever seen.”

The moment quickly became one of the standout highlights from the interview. More than eight years later, it is enjoying a second life online after being reposted by the official Instagram accounts of “The Tonight Show” and Deutch.

Meanwhile, Deutch, now 31, is preparing for upcoming projects, including “Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass” and Netflix’s “Voicemails for Isabelle.” She has also been in the spotlight following news of her engagement to Jimmy Tatro.
