Prince William Puts 600-Acre Farm on Market for Over $8 Million — Report

Prince William has reportedly put a 600-acre farm up for sale in Herefordshire. According to a report, it’s on the market for a whopping price of over $8 million (£6.65 million). Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales would allegedly sell the vacant property, which is seemingly one-fifth of the Duchy of Cornwall’s holdings. Furthermore, a spokesperson for the duchy claimed they would make “careful decisions” about their resources.

Prince William’s 600-acre farm in Herefordshire has reportedly been up for sale. A GBNews report claimed that the huge land consisted of productive agricultural land with an eight-bedroom farmland across three storeys. The future king might sell the Cradley property for over $8 million (£6.65million).

Meanwhile, the BBC quoted a Duchy spokesperson, who claimed that the sale has been made to “rebalance its portfolio.” According to them, the property’s assets would seemingly “deliver the greatest possible social and environmental impact.”

Furthermore, the outlet mentioned a detail about the deal. Reportedly, the Duke of Cornwall would sell off 20 percent of the land over the next ten years. William’s project would seemingly help local communities to own “affordable” accommodation and “environmental projects.” It would allegedly be sold either as a whole property or divided into two lots. One would be known as Hill Farm, while the other would be known as Seed Farm.

Earlier, William had also said that the duchy was not the “traditional owner,” according to the outlet. “There is so much good we can do. I’m trying to make sure I’m prioritizing stuff that’s going to make people’s lives, living in those areas, better,” he said. Meanwhile, a spokesperson suggested being careful while allocating their resources.

“We are in the process of aligning and rebalancing our portfolio so that our places and assets deliver the greatest possible social and environmental impact. This means making careful, long-term decisions about where we focus our resources,” they informed.
