Taylor Swift reportedly got unique vip access at a recent Knicks game. The pop icon watched the New York Knicks win against the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden. Besides her energy as she cheered for her favorite team, there was something else that got people talking. As per a source, Swift got vip treatment that even players don’t receive.
Taylor Swift’s Madison Square Garden arrival reportedly turned heads before the game even began
According to Rob Shuter, Taylor Swift got the best vip access at the Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Insiders told the outlet that the “Bad Blood” hitmaker arrived at the venue like “the biggest star” in the building. Sources shared that her SUV was allowed to drive directly up the location’s famous entrance ramp. This is reportedly a privilege that even the Knicks don’t enjoy.
“The players don’t enter that way. They use secure team entrances,” a Garden insider told the outlet. They further added, “Taylor was given access that very few people ever receive.” Another source explained, “It was next-level VIP treatment. The arrival was handled with extraordinary care from start to finish.” Some people inside the organization were also reportedly left surprised.
“Everyone noticed it,” an insider said. The individual continued, “Taylor isn’t just a celebrity. She’s a cultural phenomenon, and she gets treated accordingly. Sources also said that the Garden officials were focused on making the singer’s entry secure, seamless, and crowd-free. Another source shared, “When Taylor shows up, the normal rules don’t apply. She’s not just attending the event—she becomes part of the event.
The Grammy Award-winning singer also shared her enthusiasm for watching her favorite team win at the Songwriters Hall of Fame. “The quality of my speaking voice is the product of two things that I am not sorry for… One is that I was lucky enough to go to a Knicks game last night. I screamed for 100% of it,” she said. The 36-year-old added, “And then I got home and was like, ‘I gotta stop screaming’… And then I got to witness the amazing performances I saw tonight. I just never stopped screaming, and so this is what you get.”
