Cara Delevingne has positively responded to romance rumors with Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, Amber Heard. In 2016, Heard reached a $7 million divorce settlement with the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Post that, Heard made appearances with Delevingne in London, fuelling speculation surrounding the nature of their relationship.
The 33-year-old supermodel came clean about the nature of their relationship on The Louis Theroux podcast. Delevingne confessed, “We were close for a long time, and then when they were going through the divorce, yeah, we were entangled, I suppose.”
Delevingne also discussed the trio participating in the 2018 mystery thriller film “London Fields”. Although the film hit theatres in 2018, the trio shot the film in 2013, with Depp making an uncredited cameo. Theroux brought up “the Johnny Depp thing,” suggesting the “Pirates of the Caribbean” was “crazy by the idea that Amber might be sleeping with you.”
The supermodel didn’t mince her words. She claimed Depp “was pretty driven crazy by jealousy” during filming. Notably, this was two years before the couple married in 2015. Delevingne clarified that “nothing was happening” between her and Heard at the time.
The 33-year-old then vaguely answered: “Later, after they divorced, it had, I suppose… No, I don’t suppose. I know. Yeah.” Delevingne also revealed that she and Heard weren’t exclusive, alluding to the possibility that there was another love interest in the picture.
Theroux suggested Tesla founder Elon Musk, to which the supermodel replied: “There you go.” One fan commented: “using the word ‘entangled’ is absolutely wild lmfao. jada pinkett smith’s linguistic impact on hollywood drama is genuinely forever unmatched. but wow, the internet rumors were right all along.”
