Sabrina Carpenter channeled a vintage-inspired cottagecore aesthetic in a plunging sheer Dior dress featuring a thigh-high slit that rode up as she moved. The Grammy-winning artist turned heads in the outfit at the Dior Haute Couture 2026 show on July 6.
Sabrina Carpenter’s plunging Dior dress goes sheer with a thigh-high slit at PFW
Sabrina Carpenter arrived at the Paris Fashion Week in an ethereal, romantic ensemble from Dior’s Resort 2027 collection. The sleeveless, ankle-length white dress featured a delicate overlay of intricate sheer lace. The same lace draped into a gentle cowl design over the plunging V-neckline.
The opaque dress beneath the sheer overlay featured a thigh-high slit along one side, subtly showcasing her toned leg and adding visual interest. The matching floral appliqué on the right shoulder and the cascade of soft fringe trailing down the left side of the skirt injected whimsy into the outfit.
Complementing the dress, the “Espresso” hitmaker was carrying the white Dior Dioramour Lady D-Joy Micro Bag. Crafted from white Cannage lambskin, it featured the Dioramour capsule’s multicolored Doves & Roses motif. A leather bow charm adorned the silver-finish metal D.I.O.R. charms. Further, it comes with a chain strap and another adjustable leather strap, both of which are removable. The $4,600 bag is currently not available for purchase on the official site.
On her feet, Carpenter wore white Dior Bow Heeled Slingback Sandals. Crafted from white satin, the shoes were showcased at the House’s Spring-Summer 2026 show. Elevated by D-shaped soles, the shoes also featured delicate white leather bows on the front straps.
The “Please Please Please” singer’s styling leaned completely into a romantic theme. She styled her hair in two relaxed braided pigtails with a middle part, leaving loose, wavy tendrils to softly frame her face. Her makeup balances the look with a fresh, radiant complexion, featuring pink blush across her cheeks and a soft berry-toned lip.
