It has been days since Swift and Kelce reportedly exchanged vows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Recently, Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson opened up about designing the singer’s wedding attire. Speaking to WWD, Anderson described the experience as deeply personal. “It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends. It’s an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding,” he said.
Swift’s representative previously confirmed that she and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture designs. Created by Anderson, the designs were made in close collaboration with the couple. The representative also said the wedding outfits marked Anderson’s first couture wedding dress for a globally recognized celebrity.
The statement also revealed that Swift completed her bridal ensemble with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry. In the meantime, Dior confirmed the ceremony looks were handcrafted in the fashion house’s ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris before congratulating the newlyweds.
Although news of the wedding has drawn widespread attention, Swift has yet to publicly reveal her wedding gown. According to reports, the mystery surrounding the dress dominated conversations ahead of Dior’s Haute Couture show in Paris just days after the ceremony. Fashion insiders reportedly debated whether the design reflected Dior’s classic bridal style or Jonathan Anderson’s more contemporary creative vision.
While curiosity about the bridal look continues to grow, Dior said Swift will decide when to reveal the dress. A spokesperson for the luxury fashion house reportedly said the custom gown will be revealed after the singer shares the first official wedding photographs on her own Instagram account.
