Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has added another milestone to its record-breaking run. The Eras Tour: The Final Show received five nominations when the 2026 Emmy nominations were announced on July 8.
The Disney+ concert film earned a nomination for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), with Swift receiving a nomination as one of the producers. The special also picked up nominations in technical categories, including directing, picture editing, sound mixing, and technical direction and camerawork.
The Eras Tour: The Final Show captures Swift’s final Eras Tour performance in Vancouver. The concert film also includes the Tortured Poets Department set, which Swift added to the tour after releasing the album in 2024.
The latest recognition marks another milestone for a tour that has already become a global pop culture phenomenon. It also brings Swift back into the Primetime Emmy conversation after a lengthy gap. According to the Television Academy, Swift previously won in 2015 for AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience in the Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media category.
The Taylor Swift concert film’s Emmy recognition comes during an already eventful week for the singer. The nominations were announced just days after Swift’s reported wedding to Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden.
