Peppa Pig Responds After Charli XCX Threatens to ‘F—k Her Up

In a strange repartee between children’s beloved character Peppa Pig and Charli XCX, the latter used an abusive term that made the conversation pretty strange.

Charli, a friend of American singer-songwriter Clairo, defended her friend against Peppa in an unusually aggressive manner.

The bizarre exchange between Charli XCX and Peppa Pig has become one of the internet’s strangest celebrity feuds

The bizarre online altercation took place when Peppa was playing a game with music publication Pitchfork in which she was asked to rate artists. The highly popular cartoon figure said that though she would like to become the notorious P.I.G and own the industry, she is currently happy to stay low-key in the era of her favourites, namely Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Beyoncé. When asked about Clairo, 27, Peppa had a deadpan reply: “I don’t know her,” a comment that mirrored the famous Maria Carey saying that she didn’t know Jennifer Lopez.

According to The Sun, the comment was, however, not well received by Charli, who texted Clairo saying, “Let’s f**k her up”. Clairo proceeded to take a screenshot of the conversation and share it with her social media fam, and her fandom doubled down in criticism. PinkPantheress wrote: “Ain’t s**t sweet until you put respect on Clairo.” Fans also began to brutally roast Peppa online and even shared photos of frying bacon. However, Clairo commented “ok that’s enoughhhhh lolllllllllll,” before things got out of hand.

Peppa responded to the whole drama, saying, “Peppa’s not one to comment on playground drama, although she has been spotted humming a few new tunes lately…”

Clairo, whose real name is Claire Elizabeth Cottrill, rose to fame in 2017 with her breakout song “Pretty Girl.” She has since released three albums, including the 2024 Grammy-nominated Charm. Her biggest hit to date is “Are You Bored Yet?”, a 2019 collaboration with Wallows that has surpassed one billion streams.
