Lily Collins Seemingly Shoved by CEO in Chaotic Paris Fashion Week Video

Paris Fashion Week delivered another viral moment after Lily Collins appeared to be jostled while taking her front-row seat at one of the event’s biggest runway shows. The brief interaction quickly sparked debate online. Fans rushed to defend the Emily in Paris star after a video of the moment spread across social media.

The incident unfolded during the Balenciaga Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026/2027 presentation. Collins was seated beside Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams.

Lily Collins was caught in an unexpected crowding incident after a CEO appeared to push past her at Paris Fashion Week

A clip on X showed Italian Kering CEO Luca de Meo seemingly brush past Lily Collins as he sat. Thus, prompting her to shift closer to Hudson Williams. The moment quickly sparked reactions online, with many fans criticizing what they viewed as unnecessary roughness.

One user wrote, “I wonder how some men sleep at night with that kind of attitude, not a single gentleness in them. How do they even find a wife??” while another commented, “an old white man as usual.” A third added, “i wonder how those dudes even close their eyes at night carrying that cold vibe zero softness in em how the hell do they land a wife.”

Despite the online reaction, there did not appear to be any lingering tension between the two. Later photos from the event showed Collins and de Meo smiling together while posing alongside fellow attendees.

Collins embraced classic Balenciaga style for the show. She wore a black mini dress with dramatic leather gloves extending past her elbows, paired with matching heels. She completed the look with her signature sleek bob and understated makeup.

Her husband, Charlie McDowell, was notably absent from the runway event. However, the couple had recently spent time together in Paris. The pair married in 2021 after meeting on the set of Gilded Rage. They welcomed daughter Tove via surrogate last year.

Away from the fashion world, Collins has remained busy filming the sixth and final season of Emily in Paris. In a behind-the-scenes video, she announced, “After six unforgettable years of playing Emily Cooper, I’m here to share that this upcoming sixth season will be our final.”

She added, “Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season, which we’re now filming. I can’t wait for all of the magic ahead, and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet. We’re so incredibly grateful and we love you all. À bientôt!”

Production is scheduled to continue in Greece before moving to Monaco. It will eventually return to Paris for the show’s final chapter.
