Gomez had earlier confirmed their romance in Instagram comments in December 2023; she told a fan that they had been together for six months.
Blanco also recalled the conversations they had before going public. He said Gomez asked, “Are you sure you want to do this?” and offered to remain friends if he felt uncomfortable with the attention surrounding her life. His answer was direct: “You know what? S***w it.” Blanco said their longtime friends and families helped them handle the pressure that followed.
He admitted that public attention still feels uncomfortable. “I don’t like to expose my life,” he said, adding that famous people face criticism no matter what they share.
People reported that Blanco usually limits his social media activity to work, although he occasionally posts about Gomez or food he enjoys. The pair married on Sept. 27, 2025, nearly two years after publicly confirming their relationship.
