“The View” co-host Joy Behar took a shot at Donald Trump‘s diet while discussing the current Cyclospora outbreak. According to recent reports, almost 3,000 people have been diagnosed with Cyclospora in the US. Moreover, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that the infection has spread in 31 states in the country.

Joy Behar recently called out Donald Trump and his dietary habits on the latest episode of “The View”. Behar and the other hosts were discussing the Cyclospora infection. There, they also criticized the Trump administration’s response to the growing outbreak.
Behar took a dig at Trump’s ballroom project. She said, “They say that they don’t have the money, but they have $600 million for Trump’s ballroom.” She further called out the President’s diet, “Of course, he doesn’t care because he never ate a salad in his life. I feel unsafe, I do, I feel like that people up in these positions are not watching out for us.”
NBC News recently reported that 86 people have been hospitalized due to the Cyclospora infection. The CDC reported that the number of cases has risen compared to last year. As per The Guardian, state health officials in Michigan revealed that salads and lettuce could be a “potential source” of the infection.
This is not the first time someone has called out Trump’s diet. Previously, in January, Robert F Kennedy Jr slammed Trump’s eating habits, wondering how the President is “alive.” He added during his interview with podcaster Katie Miller that Trump’s diet mainly consists of McDonald’s, KFC, and Diet Coke, which RFK Jr termed “really bad food. Kennedy Jr asserted, “But he (Trump) has the constitution of a deity; I don’t know how he’s alive, but he is.”
