Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, dished on her “perfect love story” in an interview with Spiritual World. The interviewer asked Nicole: “So, if you had a perfect love story, what would it look like?” The influencer replied: “I don’t know if I believe in a perfect love story. I’m grown now, you know what I mean?”
Nicole added: “Love is hard. Love is a choice, every day choosing the same person.” For those unversed, shortly after his split from Nicole, Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship in September 2023. This was the time when the Grammy winner publicly attended a Kansas City Chiefs game for the first time. After over a year and a half together, they announced their engagement in August 2025 on Instagram.
Interestingly, on Swift and Kelce’s wedding day, Nicole shared a wholesome snap of a glowing sunset on her Instagram Stories. The influencer wrote atop the image: “Look at her.” She did not mention her location (via Page Six).
While Kelce has never spoken about Nicole since their split, the former sports presenter has addressed the breakup on a few occasions. During a TikTok Live conversation with “Love Island” star Ace Greene, Nicole discussed her relationship with Kelce without taking any names directly. The host asked her when her last relationship was. To which she replied: “Probably, like, three years ago now. It’s been a long time” (via TMZ).
The host tried to get more information out of her by asking: “Why did your last relationship not work?” To which the former sports presenter replied: “Who knows? Could be compatibility issues, right person, wrong time.”
