Prince Harry has settled a playful British debate, but he did not give himself the crown. The Duke of Sussex chose another famous Harry when James Corden asked him to rank four well-known names.

Prince Harry joined “After Hours with James Corden” following the FIFA World Cup final on Sunday, July 19. People reported that Corden revisited a question he had previously debated with former England soccer player Rio Ferdinand: Who tops the list of Britain’s most famous Harrys?
A clip from the segment showed Corden asking the prince to rank Harry Styles, Harry Kane, Harry Potter and himself. Harry laughed before saying, “There’s a conflict of interest here!”
Still, he accepted the challenge. Harry placed Styles first and Kane second. He then tied himself with the fictional Harry Potter for third place. “And we’ll have a Quidditch-off,” Harry joked as the audience applauded.
Prince Harry’s ranking differed from Ferdinand’s earlier list. The former soccer star placed Styles first, Harry Potter second, Kane third, and the prince fourth. Corden also used that earlier debate to tease Harry’s planned appearance on the World Cup aftershow.
Harry’s answer placed Styles firmly at the top. The prince previously met the singer and his One Direction bandmates at the Royal Variety Performance in 2015. Before the ranking, Harry discussed England’s 2-1 semifinal loss to Argentina. He argued that the team’s mentality changed after it took an early lead. According to Harry, the players became too defensive against a dangerous opponent.
Corden and Harry have shared several memorable television moments. In 2021, the Duke of Sussex joined “The Late Late Show” host for an open-top bus tour of Los Angeles. During a recent podcast conversation about parenting and soccer, Harry chose Kane when the host asked whose life he would borrow for one day. However, he added one condition: It had to be “on a winning day.”
This time, Harry Styles claimed the crown without needing a match, a spell or a royal title.
