King Charles is reportedly furious with Prince William and Kate Middleton after they allegedly disrespected Queen Camilla. According to the Daily Express U.S., royal broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner claimed that tensions between the monarch and the Waleses have reached an all-time high. Notably, William and Middleton allegedly walked right past Camilla without curtsying or bowing.
This has understandably angered Charles, who feels the two disrespected his wife. Turner claimed, “I have heard there does not seem to be much family love between Camilla and William and Kate. They recently walked past the Queen without curtsying, which many interpreted as a public gesture of defiance.”
It appears that Charles has decided to pave the way for Prince Harry to return to the royal family to prove a point to the Waleses. Turner continued, “Charles will stand wholeheartedly by his wife. Harry coming back is the first sign I feel of his public defiance in return.”
According to the insider, Charles went “out of his way” to accommodate Harry and Meghan Markle despite reports of security concerns and their grievances with him on the matter. This reportedly triggered the Waleses, who have already shared a strained relationship with the Sussexes. In turn, they also extended their disapproval towards Queen Camilla.
By extending an olive branch to Harry, Charles is reportedly reminding William that he isn’t the king yet. Charles has urged the royal family to set their differences aside and present a united front to the world. Turner said, “For the people, the Royal Family must be seen as a strong unit. Rather than a real-life version of the Netflix drama The Crown.”
