Pink may be considering a move to Broadway, but a new report claims she has one major condition. The singer reportedly wants any potential stage opportunity to include her daughter, Willow Sage Hart. However, the alleged requirement comes from unnamed sources rather than Pink herself. Her public comments do confirm that supporting Willow’s theater ambitions has become a major family priority.
Pink reportedly wants Willow Sage Hart beside her rather than pursuing Broadway alone
According to RadarOnline, Broadway producers have reportedly shown interest in Pink following her Tony Awards hosting stint. However, unnamed insiders claim she will only consider an offer if producers can also find a role for 15-year-old Willow.
“Pink loves Broadway, but she has no desire to do it without Willow,” one source told the outlet. Another insider claimed that watching Willow pursue her own ambitions now excites the singer more than chasing another career milestone herself.
Still, neither Pink nor a Broadway production has publicly announced such an arrangement.
Pink has openly supported Willow’s interest in theater. Earlier this year, she explained that the family moved to New York so Willow could study theater and experience more Broadway.
Soon afterward, the mother-daughter duo performed a Broadway song together on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” They sang “Hopeless War” from “The Outsiders,” while Willow also got a behind-the-scenes look at a Broadway production.
Meanwhile, Pink’s own connection to theater has continued to grow. She hosted the 79th Tony Awards in June after admitting that she first wanted Willow’s approval before accepting the job.
In the official Tony Awards announcement, Pink said Broadway had shaped her life and influenced how she creates her own live shows.
For now, Pink has not confirmed plans for a Broadway debut. However, the latest report suggests that if she does make that move, she may want Willow beside her.
