Charles Melton is officially married. The Riverdale alum quietly exchanged vows with his photographer girlfriend, Camille Summers-Valli, just a few months after they welcomed their first child together.

During an interview with People, the 35-year-old Emmy-nominated opened up about quietly marrying his longtime partner. Melton called Summers-Valli his wife while discussing their relationship. He did not share any further details about their marriage, including when they exchanged vows.
For the second time this year, Melton has called his partner his spouse. While delivering his Gold Gala speech, the actor mentioned Summers-Valli as her “my partner, my fiancée, my wife, my girlfriend.”
Melton’s comments come after a major milestone for the couple. In March, he revealed that the couple had welcomed their first child, a daughter. He captioned it, “Our family.” The first image captures Melton kissing Summers-Valli on the cheek as she holds their baby. Another photo shows the baby’s feet in front of Melton’s face. The actor also shared throwback photos documenting Summers-Valli’s pregnancy. However, they have kept their child’s name out of the public eye.
Melton and Summers-Valli have maintained a low profile throughout their relationship. It remains unclear how long the couple has been together. Before settling down with Summers-Valli, the actor’s love life was closely linked to his Riverdale co-star Camila Mendes.
The actor addressed the public’s interest in his dating life during a 2019 interview with Hunger magazine. He said at that time, “No matter what, people have always talked, even before this age of Instagram, but back then you were less inclined to hear about someone talking about you, and honestly, it’s not their place to have any authority over my relationships. Not everyone is going to be a supporter or a fan of your relationship, and people need to remember that opinions aren’t facts.”
