Taylor Swift Goes Back to Her Old Ways With Dakota Johnson After Wedding — Report

Taylor Swift appears to be returning to her old social rhythm with Dakota Johnson after a source described their latest outing as a “girls’ night out.” The pop superstar reportedly reunited with the “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress in Los Angeles, nearly two months after marrying Travis Kelce. The night out also marked a return to Swift’s familiar inner circle following months of wedding buzz and newlywed attention.

As per a Page Six report, Taylor Swift and Dakota Johnson reunited in Los Angeles. The outlet said the longtime friends reportedly met at the exclusive Bird Streets Club. A photo shared by Deuxmoi appeared to show Swift’s security outside the members-only spot. However, neither star was seen in that photo. The report framed the night as Swift trading newlywed life for a “girls’ night out.”

Meanwhile, the timing added context to the reunion. Page Six said Swift and Travis Kelce “officially tied the knot” on July 3, with the wedding reportedly taking place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. After the couple said “I do,” the venue displayed pink screens reading “JUST&T MARRIED!” Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, also confirmed the news to Page Six. Johnson was among the A-list wedding guests.

Still, the outing also echoed Taylor Swift’s pre-wedding social pattern. Before the wedding buildup, the singer was often seen with her famous friends. Page Six noted Johnson and Swift were last spotted together in May 2025. They had dinner at Via Carota with Swift’s brother, Austin, and Johnson’s brother, Jesse. The outlet also referenced older photos of Swift, Dakota Johnson, and Zoe Kravitz together from 2016.

However, Johnson had already playfully highlighted their friendship in the public eye. Page Six revisited her January 2024 Saturday Night Live monologue alongside Justin Timberlake, when the “Materialists” actress pointed behind her and said, “And look who’s sitting right behind me.”

She then jokingly referred to Swift as the “most powerful person in America.” For Swift and Dakota Johnson, the reported reunion now appears to be a low-key return to their friendship after months of wedding-related attention.
