Donald Trump and Melania recently made a rare appearance at an event at the White House Rose Garden. However, a body language expert has now analyzed the couple’s mannerisms from the event. She suggested that Trump might hold a superior position in their marriage.
Expert Inbaal Honigman told RadarOnline that Melania seems alright with Trump’s position and said, “The President appears keen to make it known that he is the boss in his marriage, and Melania lets him take that honor publicly.”
Honigman commented that Trump often directs Melania in public with his gestures. This way, people in the room reportedly get the hint about who holds the power. Honigman expanded on the way Trump and Melania make an entrance at the event with his hand “decisively” over hers. She added, “He’s showing her, and everyone watching, that he’s the CEO of this relationship.”
The event focused on Melania’s Fostering the Future initiative. Still, while they sat side by side during a speech, Trump leaned forward while Melania rested her back on the chair. According to Honigman, this was Trump’s way of showing dominance. Meanwhile, she suggested that Trump’s stance could even be a “protective approach, as though he’s ready to defend his wife from any predators. His stance suggests that anyone who wants to talk to her has to go through him first.”
The expert concluded that Melania seems okay with letting her husband take charge and approves of his position in their relationship.
