Olivia Rodrigo brought a whimsical edge to high fashion for Vogue Philippines, delivering another standout moment from the magazine’s September/October 2026 Anniversary Issue.
The singer posed for photographer Szilveszter Makó in a series of dramatic looks surrounded by dreamy, painted scenery. For one shot, Rodrigo embraced a particularly theatrical creation that blended romance with plenty of runway drama.

Olivia Rodrigo wore a Simone Rocha Fall/Winter 2026 micro minidress, as noted by a fan account on Instagram. It was pulled directly from Look 27 of the designer’s runway collection. The red-and-black creation appeared to be almost entirely consumed by ribbons and oversized floral embellishments.
Large three-dimensional flowers decorated the neckline and continued across the body, creating plenty of volume around Rodrigo’s frame. Meanwhile, glossy red ribbons twisted around the flowers before spilling freely from the dress. Numerous strands dangled around her arms and thighs, making the outfit look intentionally undone and giving it plenty of movement.
Beneath all those elaborate details sat an incredibly short silhouette. The irregular micro hem rose high on Rodrigo’s thighs, leaving her legs completely exposed while the trailing ribbons stretched significantly farther than the actual dress.
Rodrigo allowed the extravagant design to remain the focus by keeping the rest of her styling relatively simple. Her dark hair was swept back into a loose updo with a center part, while softly defined eyes and a neutral lip complemented the dramatic fashion moment.
She finished the look with Roger Vivier “Vivier” Rose Satin Pumps, which retail for $1,875. The pointed black pumps featured sculptural pink roses across the toes, cleverly continuing the floral theme without competing with the dress.
Set against an atmospheric botanical backdrop, the finished image looked almost like a surreal painting. Rodrigo transformed Simone Rocha’s runway creation into one of the most memorable looks from her Vogue Philippines shoot.
