Ciara Miller is not interested in pretending every romantic decision has been perfect. Instead, the Summer House star believes getting love wrong can help someone eventually figure out what feels right.
Ciara Miller says dating the wrong people and offering second chances are part of figuring out love
Ciara Miller reflected on her dating history after the Dancing With the Stars Season 35 cast reveal. During an interview with E! News, Miller explained why romantic mistakes do not bother her.
“You date the wrong people, and you give them second chances for stupid reasons,” she said. However, Miller believes those mistakes can eventually help people find the right partner. In fact, the Summer House star thinks people need to make mistakes in love. Otherwise, she joked, dating would become pretty boring.
Miller has also faced plenty of criticism over her romantic decisions. Earlier this year, she pushed back against criticism of her dating history. Meanwhile, her history with West Wilson created more drama during Season 10. Miller and Wilson started reconnecting before Wilson began dating Amanda Batula.
Eventually, Miller decided to leave that situation behind. By June, she said she was “done wasting” her energy on West. Still, Miller does not treat every difficult relationship as a regret. Instead, she believes those experiences can teach people what they truly want.
Now, Miller plans to focus on DWTS. She will dance with Brandon Armstrong during Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars. Miller had shown interest in the competition months earlier. In April, she said she was looking forward to DWTS training.
As Miller starts that new chapter, her approach to love remains simple. Sometimes, dating the wrong person can make the right relationship easier to recognize.
