Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Are Doing This Amid Break From Spotlight

WNBA star Caitlin Clark supported Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s break from the spotlight but hopes they come to her game this year. In a brief conversation with USA Today Sports’ Meghan Hall, Clark, clearly a Swiftie and Kansas City Chiefs fan, appeared to know a little too well about the couple’s time away from the public eye. She was certain that Swift and Kelce were in “vacation mode” and wanted them to enjoy their hiatus, at least for now. The athlete also seemed convinced they would be “cheering for the Fever” even if they missed the game.

One can never be too sure about how Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been spending their break from the spotlight. However, Caitlin Clark seemingly knew more about the couple’s past few months than she let on. Speaking with USA Today Sports’ Meghan Hall, the WNBA Rookie of the Year was certain that Kelce and Swift have been in “vacation mode” all this time. The subject came up during the interview as Hall’s final question to Clark, asking whether the couple would be coming to one of her games this year.

The basketball player, a known fan of the pop sensation as well as the Chiefs, was doubtful and said, “Oh gosh, I don’t know.” Nevertheless, she hoped that they would make an appearance and cheer her on. “I mean, I hope so,” Clark noted and then dished about their time out of the limelight. “I feel like they’re also living — they’re in a nice, in vacation mode right now,” she continued, and hoped they enjoyed a “nice little break out of the spotlight.” Despite being unsure if they would come to her game, the athlete expressed her certainty about them “cheering for the Fever either way.”

Only last week, Caitlin Clark recalled spending time with Taylor Swift on the sidelines as they cheered for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs during a playoff game in January. While talking to ESPN, she described the Grammy winner as “probably one of the sweetest people I’ve ever been around” as she looked back at the cold winter day at Arrowhead Stadium. Clark claimed to have shared “normal conversations” with Swift throughout the game and even got to meet her “great” family.
