Rosie O’Donnell Predicts The View Cancelation Over Politics: ‘They Want Obedience’

Rosie O’Donnell has never shied away from political conversations. Now, she is predicting that politics will soon play a role in the cancellation of her former morning talk show, The View.

Rosie left The View for good in 2015. Then, earlier this year, Rosie left the country, bound for Ireland to wait out Donald Trump’s presidency. From her new location, Rosie was less than thrilled to learn that ABC is “reviewing” complaints of alleged bias on The View. Now, the revocation of this series is inevitable, she claims.

On TikTok, Rosie shared an image of the hosts on The View. In the comments, she noted that “five women speaking their opinions” was now considered a “threat” in this political timeline. “Because it’s not enough to run the country into the ground. You have to control what people SEE, what they HEAR, what they think,” she passionately penned.

“And The View? Well, that’s a little too much woman — a little too much truth — a little too much Joy Behar saying ‘I don’t think the insurrection was a tourist visit, Karen.’ Apparently, the truth is dangerous now,” Rosie quipped. She then made her suspicions known, predicting that the critics of the world want “silence” instead of an unbiased production. Rosie also revealed that she has witnessed the silencing of women already, including herself, in this industry, courtesy of powerful men in their boardrooms.

Rosie further claimed, “We are in a dictatorship with good lighting. I used to think the First Amendment meant something. I used to think you couldn’t just erase a voice because it made you uncomfortable. But that’s where we are. They don’t want balance. They want obedience. And they will shut down anything that reminds people of what freedom sounds like.”

Now, Rosie believes that The View is on the chopping block. “Because the most dangerous sound in the world is a woman who knows what she’s talking about — and refuses to stop.”
