Playboy model Sara Blake Cheek recently shared a shocking flight experience on social media. She revealed that she was asked to button up her shirt before boarding the plane. While expressing her frustration over delays caused by canceled and rescheduled flights, she also questioned the airline, asking when the airline began to maintain a dress code for passengers.
Sara Bleek Cheek talks about incident before the flight
Sara Bleek Cheek opened up about her shocking experience with American Airlines.
In a conversation with TMZ, Cheek shared that she felt publicly humiliated by a flight attendant due to her outfit choice. She explained that she had followed all airport procedures, including going through security and scanning her boarding pass, without any issues. However, before boarding the flight, a flight attendant stopped her and asked her to button up her shirt. For context, she was wearing a sports bra and pants, with a shirt layered over it. Because her bra exposed some cleavage, the attendant requested that she button up. Cheek later took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her experience and publicly call out American Airlines.
On X, she shared a picture of her outfit, describing her experience. She said, “The flight attendant on @AmericanAir told me I needed to button up my shirt prior to boarding my flight. I was unaware that American Airlines had a dress code that said you can’t wear athletic attire if you have big boobs.”
In another tweet, she questioned the airline about why another woman wearing a similar outfit was allowed to board without issue, while she was not. “Finally leaving Atlanta after a cancelled flight this morning, rescheduling twice, and then being delayed. Now the flight attendant, tells me to button my shirt, but not the other women wearing the same outfit but are different in color than I am. @AmericanAir glad I’m a platinum member,” she wrote.
At the time of writing, the airline hasn’t publicly addressed the concerns stated by Cheek in her tweets.
