It’s been a rough few months for Kelley Wolf. Ever since she and husband Scott Wolf announced their separation, she seems to have been on something of a downward spiral. Currently facing multiple charges, including online harassment, she has reportedly checked into rehab.
Kelley Wolf is facing three charges amid her divorce from Scott Wolf
The former Real World contestant entered a treatment center last week, according to People. While it’s not exactly clear what she is being treated for, there has been speculation of substance abuse issues and mental health issues.
Kelley was arrested on August 26 on charges of electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information. She had doxxed estranged husband Scott Wolf, including sharing his phone number. She is also accused of harassing the actor via digital means.
Part of the condition of her release was that she must not “consume any alcohol or narcotic drug or other controlled substance unless prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner”. She was also told to seek “behavioral, psychological, or psychiatric treatment” as either an inpatient or outpatient.
The author told the judge at her latest court hearing on September 2nd that she would be checking into rehab on September 12th. She said of the decision: “I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so Sept. 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”
A judge granted a restraining order against Kelley late last month. The order bans her from contacting Scott or their three children. Scott currently has sole custody of the kids. The pair married in 2004 after around a year and a half of dating.
