It seems the engagement bug is in the air. Australian hunk Liam Hemsworth is the latest star to pop the question. His new fiancee, model Gabriella Brooks, announced the news on Instagram on Friday. She shared a picture of the ring – and it’s a beauty.

Gabriella shared the happy news on Instagram today. The model uploaded three photos, one of which was a snap of her new ring. The bezel-set diamond appears to be an antique stone. Some reports have put the jewelry piece’s value at around $150,000.
The model also shared a photo of the pair together, and one of a beach at sunset. The latter was perhaps a hint at where the proposal took place.
The Ozzie pair are believed to have begun dating in December 2019. They have kept their relationship very private, with Gabriella telling Stellar: “My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me. And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself.”
A source told US Weekly soon after the pair started dating that Liam was “happy to be moving on”. The insider added: “Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella. His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him.”
This will be Liam’s second marriage. He was previously married to Miley Cyrus. The pair officially separated in August 2019, so it seems he moved on pretty quickly. Miley opened up earlier this year about how she was “less sexual” during her marriage to the actor.
Gabriella was in a relationship with 1975 frontman Matty Healy from 2015-2019.
