Taylor Swift is ramping up promotion for her upcoming album. The singer has just revealed a “release party” for the record, which takes the form of a movie to be released in cinemas. The film promises a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her new video, as well as lyric videos for songs from The Life of a Showgirl.

One thing nobody can deny about Taylor Swift – she sure knows how to get that bag. The singer is releasing a movie to celebrate her new album, The Life of a Showgirl. The film will be in AMC theaters from October 3 through October 5. Tickets are already on sale.
While some (not us, of course) may say the film is another money grab, Swifties are incredibly excited about the event. So much so that there have already been reports of the AMC website crashing.
One fan wrote on Reddit: “It has been impossible to get on the site.” Another added: “Got through the AMC queue and then the website froze.”
This isn’t the first time Taylor has released a film. She previously premiered the Eras Tour movie at cinemas, and, unsurprisingly, it was a huge success. It became the highest grossing concert film of all time, raking in an estimated $261.6 million at the global box office. No wonder the Bad Blood singer is a billionaire.
The Life of a Showgirl drops on October 3. Taylor has also released a sparkly orange cardigan to commemorate the event.
It’s already been a great year for the star. Not only did she buy back her masters after an epic music battle, she got engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce.
