Nicole Kidman apparently wanted to work on her marriage with Keith Urban. Sources say the actress didn’t want the divorce – but that she is moving on and feeling positive. The Moulin Rouge star has made several public appearances since the split was announced last week.

While it was Nicole who filed for the divorce on September 30, a source claims she was actually hoping to work things out. The insider told People that the actress “didn’t want this” and had been “fighting to save the marriage.” The revelation comes amid rumors that Keith is romancing his guitarist Maggie Baugh.
The same source revealed that Nicole has been leaning on her family to help her through the tough time. They said: “Nicole’s sister has been a rock, and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,”
Still, it’s back to business as usual for the star. She was pictured at a charity auction in Texas on Saturday, and attended a Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday. The couple’s two teenage daughters were also present.
A source told People that Nicole feels ready to move on with her life. They revealed: “She’s had a good attitude about everything and life goes on. She was in Texas this weekend and is happy to be back at work.”
A different insider previously told the publication: “She’s been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public and she was dreading it. But she’s surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it’s out, she’s just focused on what’s ahead and her girls.”
Nicole will need to keep a positive mindset if recent reports are true – apparently she could be set to lose a number of properties as part of the divorce.
