Billie Eilish faced a bit of a scary moment at her concert on Thursday. The singer was greeting fans along the barricade during her performance, when someone in the front row made the baffling decision to grab her and try to yank her into the crowd.

Billie left the stage to high-five fans along the barriers during the Miami show. Suddenly, someone grabs her and seemingly tries to pull her over the barricade.
A video of the incident has since gone viral online. In the short clip, the singer’s security can be seen rushing to free her from the crazed concert-goer. They manage to wrestle her free, and she walks away quickly.
Understandably, Billie looked pretty peeved off about the incident. After recovering with a hair flick, she looks back in the person’s direction with a look that could kill.
The person/idiot who grabbed Billie was ejected from the stadium, as per TMZ.
Whether it was an (extremely) overexcited fan or someone with more sinister intentions is unclear. Either way, we can probably all agree that manhandling performers is very uncool.
Fans discussed the event in a Reddit post, with the consensus being that the fan was (obviously) way out of line.
One commenter wrote: “Disgusting behavior. I hope they were arrested, just plain assault.”
Another agreed, adding some speculation about the fan: “Absolutely, apparently the guy was drunk and acting weird even before this act (not confirmed, something I read from people who attended).”
A third user commented: “And this is why I 100% understand why some artists refuse to do this type of stuff because this is so scary. People feel entitled to artists even though none of us know them. So traumatizing. I hope she’s okay!”
The incident comes soon after country music star Maren Morris opened up about her assault by a fan.
