Justin Baldoni’s former agent is speaking out in defense of his ex-client.
The actor, director and producer is facing allegations of sexual harassment from Blake Lively. It stems from their time together on the film It Ends with Us. Danny Greenberg says that the mounting pressure the country singer/actress put on his former client felt like “extortion” in his eyes.
According to Blake, Justin allegedly improvised unwanted kissing and discussed his sex life with her, among other things. She filed a lawsuit against him as a result, while also alleging the Wayfarer Studios co-founder spearheaded a smear campaign against her. Justin has denied all these claims.

Despite all the shade being thrown at his former client, Danny Greenberg is behind Justin.
According to TMZ, Danny believes his story that Blake was using Justin’s supposed behavior as a tool to take control of the movie. Most of the $400 million countersuit filed by Justin on that claim however was thrown out in June.
Blake’s makeup artist, Vivian Baker, along with her agent, Warren Zavala, have both stated that Justin’s inappropriate behavior took place in the first phase of shooting. As a result of the lawsuit she’s implicated in, Taylor Swift previously said she won’t publicly endorse her.
A representative for Blake says the court assumed the allegations against her were true for the sake of argument. Even then, though, the rep says, “they don’t amount to a valid claim under the law.”
The movie was a box office success, grossing over $300 million. In August, Justin acknowledged the potential for a sequel to the film but said Blake might direct it instead of him.
Blake has previously stated that she should receive several million dollars to cover the high attorney fees paid for the defamation lawsuit filed against her by Justin.
