Keanu Reeves Picks This Olympic Icon to ‘Body-Swap’ With

Keanu Reeves recently appeared on the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, where he discussed his new film, Good Fortune, alongside Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen. During his appearance, the actor answered a fun question about which athlete he would body-swap with if he had the choice. The answer was quite an interesting one.

Here’s what the John Wick star said.

Keany Reeves would want to swap bodies with Usain Bolt

When asked this offbeat question, many expected Keanu Reeves to pick a hockey icon, especially because Reeves spent many years as a hockey player in the 1980s. But when faced with this question, Reeves’ answer had nothing to do with hockey. Instead, the actor emphasized his admiration for big moments in sports and the athletic excellence that goes into them.

“I don’t know, I mean, you guys are involved in athletics, so…what would be a moment, we hear about those moments in sports where people go into the zone,” Reeves said. He continued, “Where you’re almost unconscious and you’re just instinctive…and then I love the Olympics. …Four years in a lifetime coming up to that one moment…”

Reeves then decided on the athlete he wanted to swap bodies with. He added, “So imagine being like, Usain Bolt, breaking the world record.”

This choice highlights the actor’s admiration for long-term success and legacy over occasional or fleeting achievements. Usain Bolt is considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. He would likely come up as a first choice for many.

The authenticity in Reeves’ answer once again reflects his well-known humility and thoughtful perspective. This is one of the reasons Keanu Reeves remains such a beloved figure in Hollywood.

Good Fortune premiered in theatres on October 17, 2025, and has already seen a great critical reception. It adds to Reeves’ brilliant filmography.
