Fans Laud MrBeast’s BeastLabs Animation’s ‘Production’ Quality

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, is taking his empire to the next level with MrBeastLabs, a new short-form animated series inspired by his hit toy line. The pilot episode has fans debating, with many saying it looks more like a big-budget Hollywood movie than a typical YouTube project.

Produced in partnership with top animation studios, MrBeastLabs is the next major step in MrBeast’s expansion beyond YouTube, following his recent forays into toys and TV.

MrBeast’s BeastLabs animation praised by fans

With the first episode of BeastLabs finally out, fans can’t stop talking about the top-tier animation quality. Each episode runs just three minutes, but that hasn’t stopped viewers from raving about how good it looks.

MrBeast shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “BeastLabs is out now! Episodes are only 3 minutes because hiring so many talented artists is expensive, and I want to practice before I make a full-length 12-episode/20-minute show. They crushed, let me know what you think!”

According to MrBeast, the episode is a test run before he releases a longer, full-scale animated episode. Looking at the comments, it is clear that fans aren’t bothered by the short three-minute runtime of BeastLabs.

Many applauded the production quality, with one user even saying MrBeast’s “side projects have higher production value than Hollywood movies.”

Another fan claimed the BeastLabs pilot is better than “half” the shows coming out of Hollywood’s studios and could “break the internet” again. Of course, not everyone agreed. A few users poked fun at MrBeast’s comment about hiring expensive artists, joking that he could’ve just made the show using AI tools instead.

Not just his new animated shorts, almost every MrBeast video gets praise for its production quality. MrBeast never holds back when it comes to spending big on his content. From massive donations to creating elaborate game show-style setups, he puts thousands of dollars into making every video feel larger than life.
