Ever wondered what a birthday meal looks like behind bars? Well, thanks to Sean “Diddy” Combs, we now know. The disgraced media mogul celebrated his special day at a correctional facility in New Jersey yesterday. And there was definitely no caviar or champagne on the menu.
What did Diddy eat for his birthday meal in prison?
While there were reports that Donald Trump is considering pardoning Diddy, he’s still behind bars. And that meant marking his 56th birthday in a much less glamorous way than usual.
According to the prison’s menu for November 4 obtained by People, Diddy started his special day with either bran flakes and breakfast cake or bread and jelly. He would’ve been offered a glass of skim milk to wash it down with.
For lunch, the rapper could chose between a chickpea burger or chicken parmesan. Sides on offer included pasta, garlic bread and spinach. Fruit or dessert was then provided.
For his birthday dinner, Diddy could choose cheese pizza or navy beans, both served alongside Italian pasta salad, green beans and a garden salad.
Diddy is currently serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix. He had previously asked to be transferred to the New Jersey facility, which is known to have a more lax approach to security. He was reportedly moved from the stricter MDC facility in Brooklyn on October 30.
At his new residence, he is reported to have taken on a new job to add to his CV. According to reports, the musician has started working in the prison’s laundry room, where he washes and dries the clothes of his fellow inmates.
Diddy was charged with two prostitution-related charges earlier this year. He was acquitted of the sex trafficking and racketeering charges against him.
