Kanye West’s Wife Won’t Go Against Kim Kardashian With Brand — Source

Rumors have surfaced suggesting Kanye West may have influenced his wife Bianca Censori’s new brand to rival Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS. After Censori unveiled her collection on Instagram, fans noted striking similarities to the reality TV star’s shapewear line. However, according to a source, Censori’s intent isn’t to go against Kardashian through the new venture but rather “give her the identity she’s long been denied.”

Bianca Censori is not thinking about a ‘brand war’ with Kim Kardashian, per source

When the first images of Bianca Censori’s upcoming shapewear line surfaced online, social media users were quick to draw comparisons to Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS. The similarities between the two collections led to speculation that Kanye West, Censori’s husband, was behind the project and that it had been designed to rival his ex-wife, Kardashian’s, billion-dollar brand. However, insiders have suggested that this is far from the truth.

Sources told The Sun that Censori is not trying to compete with Kardashian but rather working to establish her own creative identity. According to the source, “Bianca is mystified as to why people are trying to set up some kind of fake rivalry. She is an artist.” The insider went on to clarify that if Censori were to consider competition, it would be “with (artists) Marina Abramovic or Jeff Koons, not her husband’s ex-wife,” underscoring that her intention is not to fight a “brand war” with Kardashian.

Reportedly, the launch of the shapewear collection has faced several delays, partly due to publicity and speculation surrounding Censori’s brand association with West. Earlier this week, she returned to Instagram after a brief hiatus to announce that her eponymous label, Bianca, will officially debut on December 11, two months later than the original release date.

Though the initial launch date passed without explanation, her latest Instagram update reportedly featured selfies modelling items from the upcoming line. This includes bras, knickers, waist cinchers, and tights, hinting at what’s to come when the brand finally goes live.
