Insiders report that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been wandering around his royal mansion “talking to himself for hours on end.” The disgraced former prince is displaying behavior that is “deeply worrying” to his staff.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles last month over his links to Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, he has been confined to his quarters at the Royal Lodge. He’ll soon be leaving the 30-room mansion he’s lived in for over 20 years. King Charles has offered him one of his own properties on another royal estate.

Ex-Prince Andrew “needs to pull himself together,” according to a palace insider

“He spends hours pacing around the lodge,” a long-time household told Radar Online. He wanders around “muttering to himself and rehashing old grievances … [Meanwhile, he’s] blaming everyone he thinks has turned on him. It’s as if he’s trapped in his own little bubble.”

As his eviction date approaches, the staff grows increasingly more concerned about the state of Andrew’s mental health. “He hardly ever steps outside anymore and has completely shut himself off,” a source claimed. “The only times he and [his ex-wife] Sarah [Ferguson] cross paths are at meals, and even then, it’s strained. She’s genuinely frightened about how he’ll cope when he has to leave.”

His posh lifestyle is crumbling as pressure mounts for him to testify before the US Congress. In the meantime, Parliament is scheduled to debate Andrew’s involvement with Epstein later this week.

Though he has repeatedly denied all accusations of sexual misconduct, Andrew settled with Virginia Giuffre out of court. She alleged that the then-prince sexually abused her when she was just 17, detailing the affair in her memoire Nobody’s Girl. He reportedly paid her £12 million (approximately $16 million), without admitting any guilt.

Andrew is “paranoid and broken. He’s convinced the whole world is against him: the King, the public, even the Americans,” the source reports. “The muttering, the pacing, the sleepless nights – it’s all escalating. Those around him are genuinely afraid he’s coming apart … Andrew needs to pull himself together and face his future without titles outside the Royal Lodge.”
