This week, your favorite reality TV stars were all about their love lives on Instagram.
Million Dollar Listing star Fredrik Eklund and his husband Derek Kaplan had an elaborate breakfast with their twin babies. Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby went rafting with her husband Michael Darby. Vanderpump Rules cast members James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss went to lunch with a friend. Terry Dubrow shared a selfie with is wife Heather Dubrow.
Even though Fourth of July was on a Wednesday this year, plenty of reality TV stars still managed to celebrate the party in the middle of the week. Some of them got away to celebrate and others just kicked it in their own backyard with their families.
Vicki Gunvalson hung out with her man Steve Lodge in Huntington Beach, California while her daughter Briana Culberson, son-in-law Ryan Culberson, and grandsons hung out with her ex-husband Donn Gunvalson in North Carolina.
Former Atlanta Housewife Phaedra Parks took her two sons Ayden and Dylan to an Atlanta Braves game- all decked out in red, white, and blue in honor of the holiday.
Summer is a great time to travel. Just ask your favorite reality stars, who have already taken several summer vacations. And of course they all documented their trips.
Kourtney Kardashian shared a photo from her trip to Italy. Southern Charm stars Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, and Craig Conover left Charleston, South Carolina for a boys trip to the Hamptons. New York Housewife Dorinda Medley enjoyed some time in Massachusetts. Ladies of London alum Caroline Stanbury shared a photo from her time in Los Angeles. Potomac Housewife Ashley Darby explored the Himalayan Mountains on vacation.
Jeff Lewis is fighting mad after learning the surrogate he hired to carry his daughter Monroe is suing Bravo. Alexandra Trent, who has appeared on Flipping Out several times, filed a lawsuit against Bravo for filming segments of her giving birth – including some snarky comments Jeff made about her vagina – without her permission. Alexandra is seeking unspecified damages for unlawful recording, fraud, and invasion of privacy.
Although viewers couldn’t see any of the actual birth process, the camera crew was stationed behind a curtain recording the entire process, which according to Alexandra, was a violation. She also cites that she was humiliated by Jeff’s inappropriate remarks.
Jeff acknowledges that his comments about Alexandra’s vagina, among others, were “a poor attempt at humor” but maintains that he and Gage Edward are “devastated” by the lawsuit because of the negative connotation it gives their daughter’s birth, and also because they considered Alexandra a friend.
Uh oh. Bravo may be on the hook for airing footage they shouldn’t have, and in this case, they might have to pay up big time. On Flipping Out last season, Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward witnessed the birth of their baby girl, Monroe, via surrogate, Alexandra Trent. The birth itself was filmed, along with snide remarks from Jeff about Alexandra not “waxing” before the event, and Gage admitting he was freaked out at his first sighting of a woman’s vagina.
Now, a humiliated Alexandra claims she never consented to this footage being aired, and is suing Bravo for damages.
This week most of your favorite (and even some of your least favorite) reality TV stars were all about the family time and shared lots of photos on Instagram.
Even with all of the drama on screen and off, Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel came together as parents to support their daughter. Now I just can’t help wondering who took that family photo? Was it Ashley Jacobs?
It is so tough to follow the changing dynamics on reality TV shows. Cast members go from best friends to enemies in the matter of an episode. Not only that, but these shows are usually filmed months before the episodes actually air. Thankfully we have social media to help keep us up to date on who is getting along these days.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville shared a photo of her son with Kim Richards. She even referred to Kim as “Auntie Kim,” so it’s clear that these two are still very close. If only they both would return to the show to save us from another boring season.
Last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live was packed with (reality) star power. Andy Cohen had Dorinda Medley on as his featured guest and 31 other Bravolebrities rang the doorbell before making surprise appearances.
Since the episode was taped in Los Angeles, it was mostly cast members from the Bravo shows that take place in California: Vanderpump Rules, Shahs of Sunset, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Real Housewives of Orange County, but plenty of other notable Bravo personalities showed up. It was a really fun episode to watch, but the 31 extra guests definitely took away from Dorinda’s time in the spotlight- at least in my opinion.
