Real Housewives of Atlanta

Leah McSweeney Ramona Singer

It’s safe to say that nearly every Bravo fan is eagerly awaiting the premiere of the Real Housewives All-Stars series. The first rendition of the spin-off will follow seven women, and one surprise guest, from different cities on a tropical vacation that’s bound to be chock-full of tequila, drama and antics. The first cast includes Kyle Richards, the solo rep of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Real Housewives of New Jersey sista-in-laws Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice were there too, macrame and all. Of course, we had Real Housewives of New York OGs Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer. And Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey joined the party.

The cast for the first season of the spinoff has been controversial to say the least. Kandi Burruss of RHOA has let her dream cast picks be known. And OGs from the Real Housewives of Orange County Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson begged to get in on the action. Despite the mixed feelings, the show’s down to be good. I mean, you have the Ramonacoaster and Twirl on the same vacay. Some messiness is bound to go down.

Ramona Singer & Luann D'Agostino

Back in 2019 when we were all still living normal lives, an announcement was made that delighted Housewives viewers across the globe. The crossover event of all crossover events that would unite OG troublemakers cast members from several different franchises in one location. After the Rona did us dirty and halted production on television shows and life in general, in February 2021 the Peacock network greenlit the limited series and scheduled production.

In April of this year, the Housewives All-Stars were announced and included Teresa Giudice, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, and Kyle Richards. Melissa Gorga was also in attendance. While the ladies filmed in Turks & Caicos, reports emerged that some of the women weren’t exactly getting along. Recently, Luann found herself on Watch What Happens Live and Andy Cohen tried to get some dirt on the newest Scary Island.

Kim Zolciak says goodbye to RHOA forever

Kim Zolciak has been a Bravo darling since the beginning of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Whether you love her or hate her, she truly made the early days of RHOA iconic af. She was the chain-smoking, bad wig-wearing blonde that always had a glass of wine in her hand and a dream. Her tumultuous friendship with Nene Leakes brought some of the best banter of all time. And while she’s polarizing, she’s always owned up to who she is, especially when it comes to her high-maintenance lifestyle. The scene of her eating pizza while getting stomach fat lasered off is forever cemented in my brain as classic housewives’ material.

Kim’s story was really unexpected. She went from spending Big Daddy’s money to meeting Kroy Biermann and his “tight ass” while the RHOA cameras were rolling. For over a decade now, the match-made-in-heaven has been popping out babies, spending a lot of money and documenting it all on their spin-off Don’t Be Tardy. While I understand everyone has opinionsmany not positive, about Kim, Kroy is like a godsend in her life. He loves her children and somehow doesn’t lose his mind with all the over-the-top ladies in his home. And watching their story on the spinoff really was entertaining for a while.

Luann de Lesseps Assumed Kenya Moore, Teresa Giudice, And Ramona Singer Would Bring Most Drama To Real Housewives Spin-Off Show

It’s really unknown how the first season of the Real Housewives Spin-Off in Turks and Caicos will go. The cast, comprised of 7 women from different cities, has gotten mixed reviews. A lot of the picks made sense — Teresa Giudice, Ramona Singer, Kyle Richards and Luann de Lesseps are OGs. Kenya Moore is messy, especially on vacation, so she had to be thrown in the mix. But Cynthia Bailey and Melissa Gorga, two of the most boring ladies on Bravo right now? That seemed like a bit of an oversight. And no Real Housewives of Potomac or Real Housewives of Salt Lake City were included, to fans’ dismay. This group is in need of Karen Huger and a few fireball shots.

Fans have been blessed with a few sneak peeks via housewives’ Instagrams of the trip that show the ladies dancing, drinking and showing off their bikini bods. There’s a supposed 8th surprise guest that apparently isn’t Jill Zarin, Tamra Judge or Vicki Gunvalson, so all bets are off on who that could be. But put this many housewives in one house and you’re bound to get drama. Especially if you come between Ramona and her room, or Tre and her macrame beach outfits.

Porsha Williams Real Housewives Of Atlanta

It’s clear that every Real Housewives of Atlanta fan has plenty of feelings regarding Porsha Williams’ recent engagement to Simon Guobadia. Simon, otherwise known as the soon-to-be ex-husband of Porsha’s friend Falynn Guobadia, went down on one knee just a month after the two started dating. P got herself a huge diamond, a three-part TV special about her life and a whole lot of backlash. Oh, and a storyline for next season.

Considering Porsha4Real brought Falynn onto the show in the first place, it seemed like the ultimate break of the girl code. Even more than Kenya Moore’s investigation into BoloGate. Simon says the two called it quits because Falynn was cheating, which sounds like an Erika Jayne excuse. However, Falynn has receipts, proving she’s a better peach-holder than Drew Sidora, that the two aren’t even legally divorced yet. Meanwhile, Porsha has limited comments on Instagram while she dreams up her ideal TV wedding.

NeNe Leakes Real Housewives Of Atlanta RHOA

Whether we like it or not, it’s hard to deny that Nene Leakes is a Bravo legend. When she’s on the Real Housewives of Atlanta screen, or when she’s on the sidelines, Nene is always giving us a piece of her mind. After insisting she wasn’t let go of the show, Nene did everything in her power (which wasn’t much) to try and sabotage the franchise altogether. She even wanted to get her “little sister”Porsha Williams in on that plan.

As we all know now, Porsha didn’t hop on Nene’s scheme to take down RHOA. In fact, Porsha seemingly used the show as a vehicle to secure Falynn Guobadia’s the bag. Quite the power play. Pretty much anyone with internet access got in on the news of Porsha and Simon Guobadia’s surprise engagement. And as always, that includes Nene.

Porsha is cranky

The Real Housewives of Atlanta are currently causing more drama off-camera than the entire last season. Porsha Williams broke the internet when she announced she was engaged to Falynn Guobadia’s ex Simon Guobadia. It’s obvious via Instagram posts from the new couple that they’re living in a world of their own. But fans have a lot of questions about how Porsha ended up with a $1.2 million ring on her finger after just one month of dating, or so they say.  Sounds to me, and Garcelle Beauvais, like a storyline for Season 14.

Porsha4Real has really started a mess with all of this. She brought Falynn, who made $0 from Bravo, onto RHOA in the first place. Now she says they aren’t friends and Simon says Falynn is a cheater. Meanwhile, Falynn is pulling out receipts to show they aren’t even legally divorced yet. Give this girl a peach. While fans disapprove of the total lack of girl code, they, and Andy Cohen, all can’t wait to see how this plays out.
