Kenya Moore Real Housewives Of Atlanta

This season on Real Housewives of Atlanta, we are seeing Porsha Williams on the front lines of the Black Lives Matter movement. She has come such a long way from earlier seasons and is honoring her grandfather Hosea Williams’ legacy in the Civil Rights movement.

In June, Porsha was at a peaceful protest march in Atlanta when tear gas was used on the crowd. Porsha was arrested. In August, the RHOA star was arrested again in Louisville, Kentucky during another peaceful protest.

This season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been unlike any other. The focus on the harsh realities of the world we live in has transformed the lens of the show. Watching Porsha Williams fight against racial injustice has been one of the biggest evolutions EVER. In addition to the protesting, the pandemic has also been front and center this season. Cynthia Bailey’s dream wedding is turning into a possible nightmare as a result.

One thing that’s been missing a bit is the group scenes between the women. We haven’t seen Porsha interact with any of the main cast in person yet which is highly unusual. It’s only a matter of time before she and Kenya Moore reignite their long rivalry and send us even closer to Strippergate. The newbies this season Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali have also brought a much needed new vibe to the series. HIGH KEY loving this season.

Nene Leakes Real Housewives Of Atlanta RHOA

2020 is not going to end without one final act of drama from former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes. After Bravo said buh-bye, she spent an unusual amount of time bashing the network that made her rich and famous. The very same platform that afforded NeNe the opportunity to step outside of the Bravo universe and into the Hollywood scene.

Somewhere along the way NeNe changed. She held the same ability to provide good shade, but she became demanding. Fighting with her co-stars was the norm. It seemed NeNe allowed the level of fame she achieved to go to her head. NeNe received approximately $2.85 million to “share her life” on RHOA, and yet she still complained. Bravo finally pulled the plug on NeNe’s antics and she launched a campaign to crucify the network amid claims of racism and being “forced out”. But if you thought NeNe had calmed down and taken a seat, you would be wrong. Now she’s calling on viewers to boycott the show – because she says so.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Was The Most-Watched Series Of 2020 In The Franchise

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills feels so far away, and yet like it happened just yesterday. This last season of RHOBH carried on the YEARS-long tradition of creating one storyline for the whole season, designed to humiliate ONE woman. Last year it was Lisa Vanderpump and puppy gate. The year before was Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave (which in hindsight, I don’t mind that one so much). The year before that was Erika Girardi and panty-gate. This year it was Denise Fu**ing Richards and an ALLEGED sexual encounter, with RHOBH’s self-proclaimed truth teller, Brandi Glanville.

Do you want to revisit any of those seasons? I don’t. Seasons that beat to death a single story are totally unenjoyable. Housewives works best, IMHO, when the show features a truly ensemble cast. Real Housewives of New York City, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City even seem to understand this implicitly. Plus, these series, along with New Jersey, Potomac, Dallas and yes, Orange County have women who are willing to show their lives. RHOBH doesn’t do either of these things and yet, it was the most-watched series in the franchise.

Candiace Dillard Bassett Real Housewives Of Potomac

For some reason, Bravo’s Chat Room hasn’t been canceled yet. Despite serving up sub-par entertainment, the show is stirring up some drama.

Porsha Williams defended her good friend Monique Samuels amidst Monique’s ongoing feud with Candiace Dillard. And, well, Candiace didn’t take too kindly to that.

Cynthia Bailey Real Housewives Of Atlanta

The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is finally picking up some steam! Porsha Williams is still on the frontlines of justice advocating against systemic racism. We LOVE to see it. However, back in the group, some early drama is starting to form. Drew Sidora made her debut last week, and she was immediately disliked by Kenya Moore. What did she do to get on Kenya’s bad side already? This feels premeditated.

The other new face on the scene is LaToya Ali, and she’s quite the thirsty thing. She doesn’t care for Drew, she’s becoming super fast friends with Kenya, and she has the weirdest marriage arrangement. Yup, she can stay. Fresh faces that make an impact is what this show needs, and it finally feels like we got just that. These girls have potential to be mainstays on the show for many years to come. Let’s see what they get into next!

Drew Sidora Real Housewives Of Atlanta

We  just met Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Drew Sidora on the show, and we already know a lot about her. Drew joined RHOA along with LaToya Ali after NeNe Leake’s departure. She is also close friends with Kandi Burruss.

Drew is an actress and has appeared on That’s So Raven and The Game. She also starred in a television movie titled CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. She has a fresh energy that is a welcome addition to the other Atlanta peaches.

Viewers met Drew Sidora on the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was introduced as a friend of Cynthia Bailey’s (who she met through Eva Marcille), but those ties weren’t enough for Kenya Moore to give her a chance. Or at least that’s how it seemed.

Kenya referred to Drew as a “stray” when she walked into Lake Bailey. And, well, that’s probably the nicest thing Kenya is going to say about her. She even compared Drew to her brief enemy Kim Fields, who was a one and done Housewife.
