Dr Drew has collaborated again with VH1 to produce a new season of Celebrity Rehab 3. Even though the show will not hit the screen anytime soon, the cast of this series has been revealed. The show will feature the real life experiences of celebrity patients who are presently undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena recovery center.
The series will air sometime early next year. The celebrities featured in the series are Mackenzie Philips of “One Day At A Time Show”, Heidi Fleiss, basketball star Dennis Rodman, country music singer Mindy McCready, America’s Next Top Model Lisa D’Amato, Mike Starr of Alice in Chains fame, Ex-Miss USA Teen Kari Ann Peniche and Real World Hollywood star Joey Kovar.
The series will feature the treatment process which includes a 21-day program of both group and 1-on-1 therapies. This also includes other non-traditional treatments like art and music.
Along with Dr Drew, the series will also feature familiar faces like counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague. This season, Dr. Drew will be adding some other prominent physicians to assist patients on one on one care. We will continue to keep you posted.

I hope Dr. Drew will be the one to help Rodman. Rodman used to be a really nice, caring, and loving person. He turns into someone altogether different after just one drink.

After watching previous seasons of this show, the pattern will be for Dr. Drew to have a pet patient that he allows to get away with all kinds of crap. For the first 2 seasons it was Jeff Conaway — thank GOD he’s not back again!!
Rodman — who makes me sick, by the way — got preferential treatment from Donald Trump during the last season of Celebrity Apprentice. I think Rodman might be Drew’s choice for pet too, only because Rodman is so physically large and threatening if he doesn’t get his own way.
Dr. Drew doesn’t have such a great track record with his addicted patients, and I don’t expect to see anything outstanding this time around either.
Dr. Drew is getting punked by all these stars. Dennis is in total denial. Kari ann Peniche is on another planet, Joey needs anger management and heidi needs friends that are not birds.lol. This show is really a comedy. No one gets the help they need. The guy who played with Alice in Chains seems like he is so medicated that he knows not what time it is. I feel bad for these people. I do watch and laugh my ass off that they would publicly air this kind of stuff. Dr Drew sucks.
Yes Jenny — you’re right on the mark. Why in hell did Drew bring Kari Ann into the mix? She’s a spoiled, mouthy bitch who needs her ass kicked. Dennis can’t deal with his own alcoholism. Heidi’s gonna fly away if the wind hits her lips the wrong way.
I do have hope for Mindy though. She’s had a long battle and she looks great. She seems to be healthy again. I hope she can stick with it.
The rest of them — not so much. Tom Sizemore is such a mess that I don’t think he’ll ever come back. Joey has ‘roid rage and he’s not about to stop using that shit to bulk up. His girlfriend is a Class A idiot for tolerating his abuse. McKenzie, I don’t know. She’s been sober before but can’t seem to stick to it. Mike Starr is out of it. I think the drugs he’s done have permanently effected his brain.
