The drama of the Real Housewives of New Jersey continues even though the first season has “ended.” Dina Manzo spoke to US about the infamous book drama, claiming she had no intention of talking about the book on the show. Umm right Dina. The infamous book is the “Cop Without A Badge” book written by Danielle’s ex husband, Kevin Maher.
Dina says, “I would like to make it perfectly clear that we did not research the book, as my sister [Caroline Manzo] has said,” she continued. “It was given to us, and we didn’t even want it as a storyline on the show at all. We felt it was a little too serious to be part of a lighthearted reality show.”
“But Danielle chose to put it on the show for whatever reasons, and we need to respect that,” continues Dina. “It’s a book about her, and we did not research, nor did we spread it around. It was all Danielle’s doing.”
Teresa adds, “Watch the episode. Danielle brought [the book] to the show, not us.”
Not sure if I believe any word that comes out of Dina’s mouth at this point, especially after last night’s episode. She continues to deny spreading the book around town.
Man, what has Dina done to her hair..she looks horrible.

found Dina’s wedding with Tommy. (Caroline’s brother) Man, this guy treats Dina like crap. There is no way she is happy with him, no matter how much money he has. I can’t believe she married this guy, he is so abusive.

She is an asshole too so I say she deserves him. She only married him for his money so I say she brought it on herself. That’s what you get when you use people for money.
She is no better than Danielle in that she found her money man (even if he cheats on her all over town making a fool out of her).
WHO CARES who brought the book out in the open? For Danielle to think it would not come out after agreeing to be on a REALITY show is just plain stupid. It is a published book after all….and if she says everything in it is all lies…shouldn’t she be suing the dude who wrote it? Again…whatver.
I think Dina & Caroline are slime for bringing out a book that hurt her daughers is unforgiveable……and they are both mothers??? SHAME on both of them.
They had it out for her from day one, there is something mentally wrong with the both of them, they have some kind of crazy, mean gene.
Jacqueline is the normal one of the bunch, she is the only reason I watch the show now.
Dina’s hot. She comes off cold at first, but she’s really soft and loving with her family. Caroline..now she’s one tough woman. I love her. That’s what I call family. Having each others back. She says it like it is. No bs. Jacq..she’s an angel…maybe gullible. Danielle’s tough and handled the situation very well, but the time and place was way off. She’s straight up a gold digger. Prob why she got in so much trouble. She was gold diggin off the wrong guy. Who knows what the truth is. there’s a truth to everything.
I think Caroline & Dina are both mean and catty. Who cares what happened 25 years ago? Obviously Danielle learned from her mistakes since she hasn’t been in trouble since.
Dina is a hearless b*tch who only married that guy for money, and he doesn’t even want to be around her she is so cold. She deserves her loneliness, she brought it on herself.
Teresa is just a classless idiot who is extremely dumb and redneck.
Danielle is strange, she really needs to use some common sense when picking men to date, also should not be exposing her daugthers to certain things at their age.
Caroline is a controllng, manipulative bully, kinda pathetic at her age.
Jacqueline is my favorite!!!! I love her and her husband. They are so adorable and real and you can tell they do not care about money, there is real love there. You can’t say that about any of the others.
In real life, Danielle took sole responsibility of renewed interest in this out-of-print book when she joined the cast of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’. She had probably been rehearsing her ‘big moment’ of slinging all the blame onto her cast mates prior to the start of actual filming for the series. This shockingly immature woman refuses to take responsibility for any of her actions, past or present. Anyone with half a brain would know to steer clear of Danielle. She is a bundle of negative energy that feeds off others.
Based on their blogs, sounds like Jacqueline finally saw the light and has distanced herself completely from Danielle. Apparently, Danielle has turned on Jacqueline and is blaming her for making Danielle think the worst of Dina. In fact, she seems to be trying to make up with Dina in her blog. Meanwhile, Jacqueline is apparently referring to Danielle when using the word ‘liar’ paired with (if I recall correctly) ‘psychotic.’
In the end, Jacqueline was foolish to toss her hat into the ring with Danielle’s in the big finale and she definitely seems to now rue taking her side, no matter her flimsy explanation of only wanting to tell the truth. How could she when, by her own latest admission, she didn’t know what the truth was?
Danielle and Jacqueline used each other and Jacqueline is the loser… for now.
Jacqueline is the only housewife with integrity, honesty and is a sweetheart. There isn’t a mean bone in her body and her husband is SO FREAKIN ADORABLE!!! They are the best couple on reality tv.
Danielle is very weird but she didn’t deserve to be thrown to the peronnas.

I think that when Jaqualine and Danielle became friends Jaqualine probably confided in Danielle about some personal issues she may have had with Dina. It’s like dating a guy and you’re having problems in the relationship, he’s not being so nice. You confide in you’re sister, mom, or friend and now they have a problem with that person. I think that’s exactly what happended with Danielle and Dina. Danielle already had an opinion about Dina because of things Jaqualine had told her and probably told her aobut the entire bunch. Danielle seems to know lots about them and past family fights (by watching the reunion show)I think we all know Dina and Caroline didnt talk about “The Family” to her so it was Jaqualine… But regardless who cares about Danielle’s past, especially 25 years ago. Thats her business she is a completely different person now. I think everyone has “a past” i’m willing to bet theres some things old Caroline and Dina teresa too for that matter wouldnt want the public to get hold of
I think they are all over the top just a bit, BUT, that Danielle is a snake… a real snake, and whatever happens to hr -she deserves, shes a nutcase.. and as for Dina, her husband may bot choose to be on the show? so what? its still her business, and he isnt there.. she doesnt make a big deal of it, and as for anyone blogging that he is cheating on her all over town, lets face it girls, the “town” isnt all that big! Its started as a light-hearted gig, keep it that way… and all you gals… “you go girl”…
I am confused….. I thought Dina and Caroline were sisters. Are they two sisters that married two brothers? Please someone explain?

Yes, Caroline & Dina are sisters. Their maiden name is Laurita. There are eleven children….I believe that Caroline is the oldest of the eleven siblings & Dina is the youngest. They are indeed married to 2 brothers….Caroline is married to Albert Manzo and Dina is married to Tommy Manzo. Then Jacqueline is married to Carloline & Dina’s brother Chritopher Laurita. Therefore, out of the 5 women on the show….there are 2 sisters & a sister-in-law!
And interestingly, although I had read that before moving to Bergen County, the majority of the women grew up in Paterson, NJ, which is not a great area, but is where the Brownstone is located….based on what was said during the show…Dina & Danielle lived in Brooklyn, NY at one time??
…Cause Dina made a comment when she & Caroline were sitting around discussing “the book” w/Teresa..somthing about how Danielle better cut it out or Dina was gonna have to “get her Brooklyn on!”…..and then Danielle’s older daughter Christine, mentioned at some point..something about her mom…”cause she’s from Brooklyn.”
So,I guess maybe all three lived in both Brooklyn,NY & Paterson,NJ at some point?!
….when I wrote maybe all three lived in Brooklyn & Paterson, I was thinking that most likely Caroline also lived in Brooklyn & Paterson since obviously she is Dina’s sis….although she is a lot older…so she could have already been married and out of the house…who knows??
