Just because the season has ended for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, does not mean the feud’s ended as well. It seems Caroline Manzo and Danielle Staub continue to genuinely hate each other. They both spoke out to PEOPLE about their feud, who was responsible for spreading the book, and where they both stand now.
Below are some excerpts from this interview -
Where They Stand Now –
Caroline: She’s invisible to me. I never had a relationship with her, I never wanted to have a relationship with her and due to her behavior, I will never have a relationship with her. She’s a pathological liar. She is manipulative. She is an opportunist. She has no conscience; she has no morals.
Danielle: Why would I lie? If you’re going to call me a pathological liar, challenge me. I’m a human being, and on the inside my heart aches just like theirs does. Just because there’s so many of them that doesn’t mean that their pain is any more important than mine.
Who Is Lying?
Danielle: I have a big problem with Caroline. I think she’s a big bully. She’s lying. And I don’t understand her motives. Protecting your sister is one thing, but what exactly are you protecting her from?
Caroline: A lot of people are upset with me for “lying for my sister.” I didn’t lie for my sister. That’s not who I am. And there’s no truth to that at all. If Dina showed that book, I would have let her fight her own battle. So, Danielle, sorry to disappoint you again.
Is Danielle Dangerous?
Danielle: Really? Was it my father-in-law that was killed and shoved into a trunk? I’m dangerous? I knew about this through the whole show. I didn’t bring it up once. I’m classy. [But] let’s talk about what’s really dangerous here. I’d like to hear about the two siblings that they haven’t talked to in
a decade — why they made their wives so uncomfortable that their own brothers won’t even speak to them. But I’m the one who caused trouble in that family? Don’t point the finger at me, ’cause I’m not sitting back anymore.
Caroline: People say, “Well, why didn’t you go to her?” Because that reputation preceded her. The woman we knew was incapable of telling the truth. After screaming and arguing for days and days, we made a decision not to tell Danielle that we know [the book] exists. If we play dumb, it can’t come back to haunt us. And that’s the decision we made as a family.

More rumors: Manzo’s will be next under investigation, we hear, at the Brownstone. Also heard is that the IRS is looking into Dina’s charity. She is not liked in this town. We all laugh about how she looked like a scared rat at the final dinner…jumping up and down, running around the table.
Also the rumors about Juicy Joe Guidice is that he is a skirt chasing slob and cheats on his table flippin wife. Just rumors around town here..but ya know..
Danielle’s skeletons are everywhere. So it’s time for the prim and proper to be exposed. Dina’s husband is also a skirt chasing slob as well. Nothing new there.
Caroline you are not the don’s wife. Quit acting like it. You’re married to a fat baker..so go bake a cake or cookies and put them in your Mackenzie’s Child jars and dishes.

Thanks for the post, Allie. This person sounds kind of mean-spirited and perhaps jealous that she was left out of the ‘Housewives’ casting. Then again, it could all be true. It’s interesting to learn what kind of rumours are being discussed in their own area.
Who knows what is true. The media has a great way of making things that much more interesting. My take:
Danielle: I cannot believe you would be on that kind of show KNOWING you had such a crummy past. It will def. haunt your poor kids. You idiot.
Jacqu: I genuiley do like her. Family is thicker than water..so if it means dropping Danielle then she needs to. Plus I wouldn’t feel safe knowing Danielle especially if the man she put behind bars is OUT. I agree with Jacqu to stay away from her.
Caroline: OMG..I am soo tired of hearing about how TIGHT your family is. Whatever already. And you are a bully and annoying and sticking up for your sister.
Dina: Grow some balls woman and stand up for yourself. You let your sister do all the fighting for you.
Teresa: I absolutely love you….you may not be the most intelligent but your honest and funny. I just hope your husband isn’t as slimy as some say.
Hmmm…..very interesting. I think there is probably a whole lot of truth in that post. Just watching the show it is obvious that Teresa & Joe’s “business” is shady and he seems like a thug.
I get the feeling the only good marriage on that show is Chris & Jacqueline.
Danielle needs serious therapy, she has the worst taste in men.
Dina & Caroline are just pathetic and seem like they are both miserable in their lives.
Dina & Caroline: Married to mobsters. Look up “Tiny” Manzo, people! Tiny Manzo was Caroline and Dina’s father-in-law and he died in the trunk of his car, compliments of the Gambino family who — by the way — provided Tiny with The Brownstone as a money laundering front. Caroline’s husband “inherited” The Brownstone from his father after the mob hit. Caroline and Dina have nothing to talk about. They’ve got so many skeletons packed into their own closets that the doors don’t close anymore. Why is it that their other family members don’t talk to them? Gee. I can’t imagine.
While it’s true that Danielle needs therapy, Dina could use some too. And Caroline better learn to shut her loud, barking mouth. Her big mouth is going to buy her a cut brake line if she’s not careful. The people her family associates with don’t play.
Wow. There are some unbelievably childish people on this site. I was looking for some simple information and BOOM! People chatting and being catty as if you’re in a damn cafeteria at school. I’m sure you also spend your time passing notes, drawing hearts with guys names, and whispering about every single person you meet. Grow up. And by the way, clearly the boobs who say,”Oh, I’m sick of hearing about family”, clearly grew up in a busted up home, and a crappy family. Your problem. Not Dina’s, or Caroline’s, or even skankbag Danielle, Grow the hell up. I would pray for some of you infantile geniuses, but it wouldn’t help. You couldn’t buy a clue in a dollar store with a million bucks.
GET OFF IT!!! If you’re 12, I hope the hell you GROW up. If not, it’s too late. That kinda sucks for the rest of us who have to deal with your crap.

I loved the show. It was so entertaining. The table flipping and the words said…simply beautiful. It was absolutely classless, but totally fun to watch.
I love, love, love Christopher. He is absolutely fun! Can you believe who funny he is. He doesn’t judge like his idiot brother Albert. Albie when you signed-up for the show did you know that it might be a problem when you pass the bar ever hear of moral turpitude? It is an issue. One attorney to you who wants to join my profession it will be an issue and even more so in for the NJ bar.
As for Dina saying that the Soprano issue was because of NJ, the answer would be NO. It is because you people are uneducated, Italo-Americans that give NJ a bad name. You don’t know Italian or how to write it or even speak it. Pathetic!
However, the show is great and how they actually believe they have class of some kind. The delusions are vast and I think psychiatric help for these ladies need a lot of it.
I want season 2.
Caroline, from one Caroline to another I challenge you to that your former father-in-law was killed by a Mafia hit from the Gambino family for stealing. Murder is public and therefore fair game for the media.
My dear Caroline, you know that you signed a billion waiver forms cannot possibly silence the media and YOU should be ashamed of yourself to get on your high horse to believe that your pedantic cries mean anything. Please go back to baking cakes or the kitchen and place your head in a vat of flour where you can blame everyone else, but yourself for exposing your family to public scrutiny.

Dina if the show took place in Princeton, Bedminster, Far Hills, Rumson or other areas of NJ you would see an entirely different group of women. Well educated. Many Princeton graduates and then off to other Ivy-League Schools…We have Patricia Russo. He had Carly Fiorina…and many many women who are known as captains of industry. Not you ladies.

Face it, there is very little ” Real” in any of the Real Housewifes series. I am a housewife and I live in the OC. Trust me when I say that only a few of my friends live in houses as featured on these shows. To say that I have watched all of the shows and have never seen any of these woman worry about paying for anything. The Fantasy Housewifes would be more like it. I watch because it is entertaining and that is because it is scripted. I would hope Theresa is not as stupid as she appears to be. I watched the finale and saw her calling Danielle a whore. Correct me if I am wrong but it was not Danielle who sat at a table full of people stating how “sore” she was from sex with Joe.
Auntie Caroline where to begin? I actually like Auntie Caroline because I think she is genuine for the most part. I could tell a few times during the series when she was lying and it was always a lie on behalf of another. Usually her sister Dina.
Just the fact that I could tell she was lying means she is not as accomplished at it as say “Dina” yes the dreaded (at least for me ) D word. I should note that I am a pretty good poker player in fact good enough to know a bluff when I see it. Auntie Caroline has been covering for Dina since she was spawned, I mean born. The only thing that Caroline wont take credit for is Mob ties. We have all had our husbands fathers dead body turn up in the trunk, havent we? It’s just a coincidence her husbands father was linked to the Lucchese and Gambino Crime Families. And the purported reason he ended up in said trunk was a chunk of missing money from the Gambino family.
Of course we Californians have never heard of these families. Caroline being from the East Coast must have had no knowledge of who the Gambino’s and Lucchese’s were. Is she the stupid one? No that was Theresa. Caroline seems to like to protect “The Family” a lot.The Family is thick as thieves” Caroline is like to Mother of the group. She might want to mother her own children two of whom seem very
unambitious, the daughter and Albie. Love Albie maybe Caroline can give him some pointers and get him started in the laundry business. I understand The Brownstone isnt really the cash cow operating full time as a catering facility. Caroline’s father in Law started it in his heyday as a legitimate front, I mean Restaurant.
I absolutely do not mean to speak ill of the dead and I am sure Tiny was a great guy, albeit a Gangster. It’s just that Caroline is so concerned about her family being exposed to Danielle because of the allegations in ” The Book”what with her possible criminal ties and or deeds. The deeds that were committed 20 or so years ago. Caroline needed to spread that book
all over town to warn people. Ask Caroline to discuss her father in law and she starts crying. I guess shes all for protecting the children from
every bad influence OUTSIDE her own family. The last family member although by marriage is Jaqueline. I love Jaqueline. The only thing I
wish for her is happiness and Thank God her husband is a great guy. He is level headed and seems very fair and honeslty how he turned
out that way with Caroline and Dina in the mix is a revelation. He loves Jaqueline and I pray he helps her to not be brainwashed by these
overbearing evil witches. I love how she stood up for Danielle even though once again guys this is a scripted reality show. Do you really think Theresa invited Danielle to the dinner because she is not a rude person? Because she is Jaqueline’s friend. What was not scripted was
how long it took Theresa to realize Danielle had slammed her but good! God love her, isnt she precious? Last but certainly not least is Danielle. I like Danielle and will be very ticked if she is not on RHONJ next season ( I am betting my boots she will) Call Danielle what you
will but I call her smart, a straight shooter, opportunistic, hustler, savvy business woman, tough, survivor…. I am quite sure she was a stripper and fairly certain she was a call girl or hooker, whatever you want to call it.
Danielle knows who she is and what she wants and she is willing to do what it takes to get it even if it’s not popular.Theresa at least she tells men how much it’s going to cost before she screws them.
.I am pretty sure she does not charge them day after day, but hey more power to you, Happy Wife, Happy Life. Got to love it! Theresa had an issue with Danielle and her multiple engagements, “whore, enaged umpteen times” etc.. Elizabeth Taylor has been married 8 or 9 times with umpteen lovers, is she a whore also? At least Danielle is who she say’s she is (well now, she was Beverly but now she is Danielle) she admits making mistakes in her past and her present. Danielle is trying to provide a good future for her two daughter’s and she is willing to take crap to do that. You did not think she was actually attracted to Steve, Yuck.. If you want to see what kind
of a person Danielle is then take a good look at her daughters. They have more class than all of the ladies and their children combined. Look at Dina’s daughter and look at Danielle’s two girls. If the Apple does not fall far from the tree then Danielle’s tree must not be rotten.
I love this site. LOL. I can’t wait till those lying “ladies” (and I use that term very loosely) have their door pounded on by the Feds. I must say I was disappointed that Jaqueline contradicted herself at the reunion show. She clearly stated at the dinner party that DIna called her and told her what she found (the book) and that she was also at the Chateau when Dina brought the book. So why change your tune now? Family get to you a bit? Guess it didn’t get to Jqueline’s husband, cause according to the show his relationship w/Dina is still strained.

Jaqueline never said Dina showed her the actual book. She said Dina called her over to look on the computer after she googled it. Since I never had anyone I loved brutal murdered and stuffed into a trunk I can say how I would feel/act if the subject were spoken about with obvious malicious glee.
Danielle’s daughters seem so well adjusted because they have to be the adults in the family.
Re: ABT. I so agree with you on the issue of Danielle’s kids. Those poor girls without much of a normal childhood.
Danielle: I still can’t really understand why she was trying so hard to be in the company of people that never liked her to begin with. While she seemed to have something issues with Dina, within the first few episodes…. she continued trying to insert herself into situations near Dina (and the rest of the Manzo clan.) Bringing the book to the dinner party and insisting that her daughters witness the drama was very immature and selfish. – I agree with others here, that she probably was involved in some form of sex-work and probably willing to put up with shady characters in her life…. if some of that money came her way. – Now, she’s waiting for some rich guy to bail her out…..
Teresa: Girl, you are a stage mom! I’m hoping someone will tell her to let her babies do their thing, within reason, of course. She shouldn’t try to live through them. – I’m glad she likes her new “bubbies”. They do fill her out nicely. Congrats on the pregnancy. Maybe, now Joe can have a boy?!
Caroline: She true to form – an italian matron…. protecting her family. Suits her well.
Dina: I don’t have much to say about her. Too early to tell.
Jaqueline: I feel a little sorry for her. She may, one day, regret sticking up for Danielle….. Congrats on the birth of your baby boy!!!!
