Things have taken a much sour turn for Jacqueline Laurita and Danielle Staub since the taping of the reunion show, as Jacqueline has now ended her friendship and all contact with Danielle.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star spoke to US last week making this telling quote, “I am not friends with Danielle.” But she doesn’t stop there, “She has never seen the baby, nor will I ever show her. I learned my family was right about her all along.”
Jacqueline has now gone into further detail about why she had to end the friendship, and you’ll be surprised it has nothing to do with her in-laws, Caroline and Dina Manzo.
“Danielle knows exactly why we are not friends anymore. She did something HORRIBLE behind the scenes to destroy Dina and my family. We have PROOF of it. I wish I could say what it is, but that’s Dina’s call. The other reasons were after seeing the show I got some threatening phone calls from Danielle. She didn’t like what I had to say about her on camera so she flipped out on me. I honestly didn’t think that I said anything that bad. Sometimes you get cut off from finishing a sentence when it comes to TV as well, and I had tried to explain that to her. I didn’t appreciate the way she spoke to me. She told me to stay away from her and her “real” friends. I still don’t know what she was talking about. I certainly haven’t spoke to any of her friends about anything because I don’t even know what I would have spoke about. I don’t even know her friends. The night before the reunion show she called my sister-in- law to try to turn her against me with lies! I didn’t appreciate that either. I have heard all over town that she is trashing me and plans to “bring me down,” whatever THAT means. It’s enough for me to know that I don’t need someone like that in my life that could turn on me so quick because they don’t like my opinions when asked about their lifestyle.”
That was very telling and I must say I can’t blame Jacqueline. I used to have some sympathy for Danielle because I felt the Manzo sisters were ganging up on her, but my opinion of her has since changed.
I truly believe she thrives on the drama, and is simply very delusional as well as pathological. She also seems to always be the victim in all of her personal conflicts.
She does seem like a toxic human being, plus what 46 year old mother in her right mind makes a sex tape with her 26 year old boyfriend? She overall seems like a very tragic human being, who thrives on attention no matter how negative or detrimental it is to others around her.
The New Jersey and New York ‘housewives’ attended a fashion show in New York City recently. They sat together, except for Danielle, who sat all alone in the crowd. It must have been a moment of complete victimization bliss for Danielle to have been so publicly ostracized by the others.
Bethanny Frankel and Jill Zaren have spoken to the press at large about what they think of Danielle. Bethanny said that she’d certainly understand if the rest of the New Jersey cast was afraid of Danielle and that they should place restraining orders against her.
This would appear to be a great publicity stunt if not for the fact that Danielle keeps threatening bodily harm to others. On the last reunion show she trumpeted that she had fans who were anxious to come to her rescue if she should feel threatened by her first ex-husband. According to her, these fans would ‘take him down.’ She seems oblivious to how she sounds because this is complete normalcy to her.
It is easy to imagine what transpired after the final supper. According to Danielle, she had to be driven home because she was in the midst of a nervous breakdown after the horror she had to deal with during the meal. She tells us that she and her two daughters huddled together in the bed for days. She mentions the TV being on, thunder, and lightning.
One gets the impression that she really doesn’t remember too well those days spent under the covers with her children. One gets the ominous feeling that Danielle struck terror within her young daughters by telling them how the Manzos are in the mob and how easy it would be to have all three of them murdered without leaving a trace. After all, she told her children that she had been bodily threatened upon leaving the final supper. One can imagine her distressed emotional state, on top of all the alcohol she’d consumed, only escalating from there.
Her sociopathical tendencies reached a new crescendo when she stated at the reunion that it wasn’t her fault that others made her dislike Dina. Indeed.
Meanwhile, Danielle is hawking a book deifying her trashy life in hopes of becoming a blessed mortar for battered women. I can’t think of a bigger insult to true victims. She is also actively pursuing her very own talk show. (Surely the TV powers-that-be won’t slip to that absolute bottom rung.)
On the other hand, the show wouldn’t have reeled me in if not for Danielle. With unaccustomed time on my hands, I was using ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ to wean myself off of ‘Real Housewives of New York City,’ the only show in this franchise to which I’ve been truly dedicated. I found the new series to be a complete bore until the night Teresa pulled out ‘the book.’ Who knew that what appeared to be a quick replacement for the ‘New York City’ series would turn into something that could be optioned for a big Hollywood movie? This real situation puts the fictional movie, ‘Soap’, to shame.
I have to wonder if ‘New York Magazine’ regrets refusing to cover the New Jersey series as they did the New York franchise. They already had a dedicated following due to their excellent coverage on the latter, so I’ve a feeling they lost out on even a greater online readership by all but ignoring the New Jersey gem.
Why don’t these white trash with dirty cash skanks go jump off a cliff and take their greasy husbands and their mouthy, skeezy spawn with them? Good God, people — what purpose do they serve? Nobody works, nobody pays taxes, everybody lives above their means and they’ve set Italian Americans back 50 years.
I would love it if every last one of them put a loaded gun in their mouth and pulled the trigger. I don’t watch this show because I can’t stand the commercials — that loudmouth, fat-ass Caroline and her mobbed-up shit. “We’re ticker den tieves …” Yeah. Tiny Manzo’s daughter-in-law has the nerve to talk shit about other people’s skeletons. That’s a rich bowl of shit for sure.
