What’s a man to do when it seems the whole world is against him, including his own girlfriend? Well if you’re Jon Gosselin, you begin consulting with a Rabbi in an attempt to reconnect with your “deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self.”
The 32-year-old Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad released a statement addressing some of his recent behaviors. “I am well aware that my behavior over the past few months has not always reflected my personal and religious values. I further accept that I have allowed myself to become somewhat severed from my own moral anchor and be carried away by the challenges of fame.”
This statements comes right after his girlfriend, 22 year old Hailey Glassman, revealed in a nationally televised interview that Jon is emotionally abusive to her.
Jon continues, “It is for this reason that I have endeavored of late to reconnect with my deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self with regular study sessions and counseling with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, whose morality-centered-and-values-based advice, coupled with his profound commitment to fatherhood and family, I deeply respect.”
He finishes his statement by trying to appeal to the public. “I wish for the public to know my regret at having, at times, betrayed the moral principles that have always guided me. I am committed to making things right with Kate and especially my children. I ask you to please give me the opportunity to prove myself.”

Nope not for a minute. He finally got some good advice. How can he make it up to Kate and the children. I know I would not want him back.
Maybe I am buying it, or maybe I just want to see him act like a dad??

Everyone one deserves a chance, I think he is on the right path with Rabbi Shmuley. I think it speaks volumes that he said he needs to makes things right with Kate and his children,and that he didn’t mention anyone one eles.
I hope so… I would really like to see him get on the right path. Everyone deserves a second chance so I wish him luck.
Hell no I don’t believe him. He has pretty much said the same thing in the past couple of months and nothing changes. Why does he need Rabbi Shmuley? Didn’t he say in the same interview where he told the world that he despises Kate that he has spent $22,000 on therapy?
He looks like a cross between a pug and a frog. He has horrid acne. With all that money he has you think he could go and buy some accutane! He’s got the hairiest, grossest muffin top I have ever seen. And he probably has herpes too from sleeping around so much.

I’m with Shizzy on this one. I suspect under those ugly ed hardy t shirts is a girdle that smooths out that hairy muffin top. I think this was another setup to get his ugly mug in the rags again. He probably made his Amy Fisher doppelganger cry to the reporters as a way to garner sympathy and announce his intention to change. Rabbi Schmuley is wasting his time. He should tell him he can start by changing his kids dirty diapers.
