Jon and Kate Gosselin will come face-to-face under the supervision of a court-appointed arbitrator, reports RaderOnline. The purpose of the meeting is to resolve the details of their highly publicized soap opera divorce.
TLC’s lawsuit against Jon is still in the works and they are being represented by one of the top legal firms in the country, William & Connolly. If Jon is unlucky and losses the battle against TLC, he will face large legal bills and may have to pay back a huge sum of money to the network. Sources say Jon is hoping that Kate will convince TLC not to proceed with the suit against him since it will take money away from her and the kids.
In addition, TLC wants to prevent Jon from getting paid for interviews and appearances so they are moving ahead with an attempt at a preliminary injunction against Jon. In the mean time, it seems Jon may have gotten smarter as he trying a different approach in dealing with the mother of his children. According to a source, instead of being inconsiderate to Kate, he’s now ready to try a more peace-making approach.

In other news, Jon’s lawyer, Mark Heller considers Kate Major’s possible lawsuit against Jon to be a joke. We reported days ago that Jon signed a handwritten contract promising to hire Kate as his personal assistant. “Kate knows Jon Gosselin is like Obama’s stimulus package,” Heller told RadarOnline on Thursday. “Every time she needs money, she cashes in on the few days she knew Jon Gosselin.”

Jon is asking Kate to convince TLC to drop the suit because his losing it will mean money being taken away from her and his kids? What a dippity-do head.
Does this mean that if Jon wins his $5 million suit against TLC that he’s going to give half of it to Kate and the kids? Hell no. The man is under the impression that the money is owed to HIM. At no time has he claimed the money is also owed to Kate or his kids or that any money won will go to them.
Jon is trying like hell to delay the divorce because he wants Kate, with the help of his children’s savings, to have to help pay his expenses when he loses and has to anti up. If they’re divorced, a judgement against Jon won’t have a direct impact on Kate and the children. He’s a day late and a dollar short when it comes to trying a more peace-making approach to the mother of his children and I hope she ignores his conciliatory advances.
As for his idiot lawyer Heller dismissing Kate Major’s lawsuit as nothing more than a publicity stunt, he might want to have a talk with Steven Spielberg, whose prenup carelessly written on a paper napkin over cocktails with Amy Irving cost him around $50 million.
