The second season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been filming for months and the drama has apparently been brewing.
Danielle Staub recently went to court in an attempt to get Ashley Holmes, the 19 year old daughter of co-star Jacqueline Laurita, arrested for pulling out her hair extensions during filming last month.
According to NJ.com, Danielle also wants to file charges against Jacqueline, her one-time close friend but with whom she had a falling-out with towards the end of last season. Danielle claims that she had gotten into an argument with Jacqueline, during which Jacqueline’s teenaged daughter Ashley pulled her hair and ripped out clumps of her hair extensions. All of this is revealed in a filed police report.
Ashley confessed to pulling Danielle’s hair but claimed she did it because she thought Danielle hit her mother. Jacqueline denied being hit by Danielle according to the same police report. The report also reveals Police found Danielle “very emotional and rather incoherent” but she wouldn’t file a report. They told her that she could file a simple assault complaint.
Danielle was back in court Thursday afternoon for an hearing that will decide whether or not she can file charges. Teresa Giudice is also said to have been present during the fight, but did not get involved.
UPDATE: Danielle dropped her complaints against Teresa and Jaqueline in court on Thursday. However, the judge issued a summons against Ashley Holmes on charges of harassment and simple assault, both disorderly persons offenses. Ashley was not present in court.

I Really think these housewive shows have gone 2 FAR with All the NEGATIVITY & DRAMA they are helping Start… Personally I’m DONE w/ it.. I work 2 HARD to keep my life Blissful & POSITIVE, I’m NOT going 2 let some “SHOW” get in my way of that… GOOD Luck BRAVO!

I LOVE the Housewives………..all of them, Atlanta, Orange County, New York and New Jersey. I’d much rather watch somebody elses “staged” drama and know they’re being paid to show that side of themselves than go through my own drama or watch the news!

The White House Crashers put the whole RH reality cr@p over the top for me by attending a WH function uninvited, embarrassing and angering the President and First Lady and being a national humiliation.
And for the Salahi’s there’s still no shame over what they’ve done.

Does anyone else think the above picture of the daughter looks a little odd? Her head is enormous in comparison to the rest of her body. Compare the size of her hand to her face, or the size of her head to her hips. It’s creeping me out bad. I don’t watch the show so I don’t know if she really looks like this.

Ashley should have knocked Danielle’s @$$ out! I can’t stand her. Anyone ever think that the photo of Ashley is her face pasted onto someone else’s body? The skin tones are off and Ashley has a larger frame and you can’t shrink your frame through weight loss. I don’t think it is a true picture and someone rather playing with Photoshop.

Not just on this site, but on others, viewers of the RH series are saying they are done with the show, so I’m not the only one.
And its not just RHofNJ, its all of them, particularly the RHofOC particularly the numbers of criminals and crimes that are featured on the show.
Everyone’s limit is different, but for me it was the WH Crashers and their willingness to crash the President’s *first* State Dinner that put it over the top for me personally.
Maybe you and the rest of your crew are threatened by my action to NOT WATCH the RH series anymore.
Any cast member who is angered by a member(s) of the viewing public to NOT WATCH these shows probably is concerned about money – we all know the cast members get $10k plus per episode and should the series go down the drain, then there would go your money to continue to carry on the charade of being real money and not fakes.
Face it, we all know that most of the shows’ cast has suffered financially in this economic downturn. Most of you were employed or dependent on the real estate industry or building industry (incl contractors) to one degree or another. You are now dependent upon the show for money to keep your party going.
So now, most of you (except for Alexis’s husband who is a pawnbroker) have run into very serious financial problems due to this situation. Am I happy about this? NO. But the situation is what it is and many Americans are truly suffering.
In any event, what this means to those who are regulars on this board, it means I won’t be commenting on *future* shows which would include RHofNJ. If you have a problem with that, you are more off the deep end that I could possibly imagine.
btw, you publicly confessed to two crimes against Danielle (Assault & Battery) on this Message Board.
Prosecutors will have a much easier time against you in court.

You could have defended your mother by calling 911 and reported Danielle to the police. They would have come to the scene, done an investigation, and probably depending upon Probable Cause, would have arrested Danielle. The fact that she already has a serious criminal history would work against her and you could have saved RHofNJ from being percieved together with the WH Crashers and the rest of the RH series.
I am a crime victim and can tell you from personal experience that its always best to let the police handle things.
The exception would be if deadly force (such as a knife or gun or car) were being used against your mother, then the law would look at your involvement differently.
PS: In the future, try not to insult the viewership. Getting Bravo means I have to have satellite in my locale. Its not cheap and I enjoy watching what I pay for.

Ashley, if you don’t like to be critiqued then stay the hell off of TV. Plain and simple. Your picture looks like one of the cards of dogs where they enlarge their faces making their noses extremely large and caricature like. You looked the same way on the show so don’t blame it on a camera angle. Danielle is a nasty SLUT, actually a PAID SLUT but if your mom did something to piss her off you should let her fight her own battles. One day you may just get KTFO!

In this day and age, with Free Speech being a guarantee from the U.S. Constitution, some people are being censored over something as meaningless as a reality show. Wow.

I would like to comment to Ashley, of course if it is really Ashley who commented. Anyway. I am a 60 yr old women from south Jersey. I do not condone violence. But I for one can understand exactly how you felt. You see when I was about 17 some azz shoved my mother into a wall. I was there and I was on him in a second flat. NO ONE COULD PUT THEIR HANDS ON MY MOTHER. I never stopped to think call the police. I just reacted. This was all over a parking spot. Duh! It is not right to attack another person, but all I saw at that moment was someone hurting my mother. I still to this day get infuriated that someone did that to my mother. The person that did this to my mother was a stranger. I can not imagine how you felt when you thought that trash hit your mother. Like I said previously I do not condone violence but I understand where you were coming from.
Whether that was actually Ashley or not –
comments on this blog or any other blog is a form of free speech. In addition, if someone unfortunately decides to have themselves displayed on Bravo for everyone to see the good, bad and the ugly, you know that person is setting themselves up for ridicule. The reality “Star” may not like it (eventhough I’m sure making a little cash soothes some wounds) but Bravo is definitely benefitting.
Also, if “Ashley” is so concerned about what people say about her on this blog, maybe it’s time to tell Mom you’re off the show!

this show is the epitome of beauty fades (and the beauty part is very questionable) especially with all these plastic, fake, overly bleached teeth and iodine tinted skin pathetic women – BUT Dumb is FOREVER!
