Houston, we have a situation. According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Situation is set to earn an astonishing $5 million this year!
Just how? Well the site reports the breakout star of Jersey Shore is raking in $60, 000 per episode on the MTV hit show, in addition to the $1,000,000 he is expected to earn in appearance fees.
But that’s not all, The Situation also signed a $400,000 deal to help promote a new line of protein vodka drink called Devotion, and yes you read that right, a protein vodka drink. He is also developing several products including an ab workout video and a line of chewable supplements.
But wait, there’s more! He also released a rap song on iTunes and has signed endorsement deals with Vitamin Water, Reebok and a clothing company.
So there you have it folks. Who knew fist pumping could be so lucrative.
In other Shore news, RadarOnline reported yesterday that Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola walked out on the show (season 3 is currently filming) late last week.
According to Radar, Sammi got into a rage after watching the season 2 episodes that showed her boyfriend and co-star Ronnie Magro cheating on her, and then coming back to the Shore house to sleep with her.
“Sammi was angry and hurt by everyone,” a source tells Radar. “She couldn’t believe Ronnie did this and the girls hadn’t really told her… She just couldn’t stay living with the person who did this to her, so she moved out.”
The source adds that Sammi “had to find out in front of everyone that her boyfriend was lying to her and treating her like hell.” Radar reports the entire cast sat together last week to watch all the episodes of season 2.
Ok magazine is also reporting today that Sammi has since returned to the Jersey Shore house.

Wow, good for ‘the situation’. I say make the money while the show is hot and in demand because it doesn’t last forever.
Of course, I am not surpised that Sammi came back. She would be a fool not to. This is easy money and to not capitalize on it would be DUMB!! She can’t be mad at the house or the girls for not telling her that Ronnie was playing the field while at the clubs……shoot I am not too sure it would have made a difference….she would still go back to Ronnie…..she is SPRUNG!!!
Sammi quit staying home and go out ….then you will not have to depend on people telling you stuff, you’d see it for yourself…..

That sounds pathetic! Ummm…where are the REAL Celebrities these days? Why is The Situation, somebody who’s worked for nothing, getting paid $5 million dollars? I think it’s ridiculous that reality show participants get paid the same, if not more, money than an actor or actress on Primetime and/or Daytime Television.
They have these big ego’s for no reason…to the point where Snooki thinks The President Of The United States gives a crap about HER!!! Give me a break, please lol.

His verbal assaults on her is like WHOA…..and she still keeps going back to him and being his doormat. So yeah, I have to agree with you that she is dumb. A person will only do to you what you let them do. She has surrendered her power to Ronnie …..he is in her head bigtime.
And she can’t really be made at ther other housemates because they are trying to stay neutral…after all they all still have to live under the same roof. I mean would you tell her? She is so dumb that I think she would turn on the person that does tell her and then go back to Ronnie anyway.

I wouldn’t have said anything either. I think the only reason they were upset about her not knowing is because they knew she’d see the show and know that they knew about Ronnie. Well, that, and they knew it would come out sooner rather than later.
But, no, I wouldn’t have told. I would have stayed out of it and told her that I’m staying out of it. She was stupid enough to let him call her a bitch and then lay in her bed with her the SAME night, so to hell with her!
Sammi is the type of woman who would call 911 after being physically abused by her boyfriend/husband and then hang on to his ankles crying “but I love him, I love him” as he was being escorted out by the police.

Even if she has, she knows the difference from right and wrong. If that were some random dude on the street calling her a bitch, she’d be upset.
But it bothered me that she told Angelina she’d be pissed at the other girls (J-Woww-a-man & Snookie-no-top-lip) if they didn’t tell her if they saw Ronnie do anything.
She KNOWS because she’s seen the looks on their faces whenever cheating comes up or Ronnie is mentioned! Why be pissed? I guess she has to blame someone other than Ronnie.

What I would’ve done after finding the letter: Read it. Put it back in my drawer. Acted as if I wasn’t upset with Ronnie. At dinner, when everyone is gathered, I’d just stand up and say “Thank you to whomever gave me that letter. I know it’s hard to admit because of the house. But thank you.” A couple of days later- dump Ronnie! LOL!
She’s dumb because she was too focused on finding out who wrote the letter instead of what was in it. We get to see what’s going on next week when her and Jen fight.
Oh yeah: Sammi is stupid. Why would she even go in the room and argue with him about the shit? She should’ve just showed him the letter and ignored him after that. Dumb.

You are right she is so focused on who sent the letter yes I would be curious but I would be more focused on what is in the letter.

It’s a good point. I think I would’ve been bold enough to tell her face-to-face. By them writing a letter, she’s only upset that they did it anonymously- not the actual contents! (Stupid, I know)

Did you hear Mike slip and say “It’s true…” then tried to cover it by saying “It’s in the letter, so it must be true…” when Sammi asked him again? So, Mike flat-out said it was true— and she heard him, but it looks as though Sammi is accusing Jen of “wanting” HER “boyfriend.” She…looks….dumb!
