If you have been following the news reports about Teresa Giudice for the past few months, and have recently wondered if things could possibly get worse for the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, we are here to report the answer is yes.
The media outlet RadarOnline has uncovered some new documents filed on Thursday by Roberta A. DeAngelis, the US Trustee overseeing the bankruptcy petition of Teresa and husband Joe Giudice, basically asking the Judge in the case to dismiss the Giudices’ Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition because of fraud.
The main fraud accusation has to do with that little known book Teresa wrote titled Skinny Italian. The accusation is that Teresa failed to disclose the $250,000 advance she received from her publishing deal with Hyperion, which might explain why she went on a $60,000 shopping spree just days after filing.
This is fraud because the contract Teresa signed has been uncovered, and it is dated October 22, 2009, which is exactly a week before she filed for bankruptcy on October 29, 2009 to the tune of $11 million in debt. “The Defendants have knowingly and fraudulently made false oaths in this case” states the court documents.
Popeater also reports that while Teresa acknowledged in an April 2010 examination under oath that she received the book advance, her legal team failed to officially update court records about the newly disclosed assets.
Other assets the couple is accused of concealing include a bank account of Joe’s, two pieces of real property, vehicles, the ownership of an online boutique called TG Fabulicious, as well as Joe’s 1601 Maple Avenue Associates, LLC.
The complaint also accuses the Giudices of presenting false income tax returns to the bankruptcy court. And as the days go by, prison time is starting to look like a real possibility for the Giudices, that is if the feds decide to file fraud and perjury charges against them.
As if this wasn’t humiliating enough, RadarOnine is also reporting today that Teresa will be hosting a table flipping contest in Delaware on September 25. The site states “Teresa will appear at the Funky Monkey in Wilmington Delaware, where she’ll hold a meet-and-greet with fans and invite women to flip a table for a prize.”

@Bad Girl, I completely agree, all opinions are welcome here, but sometimes, when I’m posting a comment, I haven’t yet read new comments that have come up, or sometimes don’t always see a comment, so what I’m saying may go out of order with a flow of commenting, if that makes sense.
And sometimes here, people are anti danielle one day, and other days anti teresa, today, it’s teresa….I’m sure danielle will do something equally as repulsive any day now, and we will all discuss how she was born in the bowels of hell and only feeds on angels, and we’ll all try to decide whose the most deserving of our disdain.

@96Exposed, yeah were having a good time we just had a late night run for mexican food, there is a place not far called Sarita’s there is a lot of these little mom and pop taco stands around San Diego, this one makes a really really good bean and cheese burrito. thats what I was wolfing down. and got an extra for my nephew who loves them and will eat them cold.
he’s sleeping in my bed right now and then I have to move him when Its time for me to go to sleep. He does that at home likes to sleep in his parents bed and then they pick him up and put in his bed, he has a twin bed but he loves giant king size beds LOL

I read that In Touch magazine paid Teresa Giudice $10,000 for an exclusive intereview about blowing 11 million dollars. After reading it, I personally don’t think it was worth that much but I guess she needs the money. One thing that was interesting is the fact that she’s still using credit cards. The article mentions that Joe has taken control of the finances and “imposing a limit on Teresa’s credit cards.” I was under the impression that when you filed for bankruptcy you could not use your credit cards. Maybe they found a way to hide those too.
It’s unfortunate that they are now facing jail time. How could they think they could get away with perjury, hiding assets, not disclosing financial information and filing false tax returns? Perhaps they have gotten away with so much in the past, they thought they could pull this one off too. I’m sorry Teresa and Joe but it’s not looking too good.
Hopefully, this will be a lesson for them and everybody that is watching this unfold. I guess they were never told that honesty is the best policy.
Teresa and Joe are FRAUDS AND CRIMINALS; it may not be to the same degree as Danielle, but they STILL COMMITTED SEVERAL CRIMES and are blaming others.

I am looking at the big picture…11,000,000 DOLLARS. There is no fricking way Teresa couldn’t have known about the debt however much the amount is/was.
When you default on a loan, the bank/mortgage company contacts you. The Giudices had at least 6 mortgages over 200,000 (each). They were probably laughing at the bank when they approved them for the loans they couldn’t pay…look who’s laughing now.
I love (rolling eyes) how she keeps BLAMING THE ECONOMY for their monetary problems…NO DUMB B you and other greedy a$$ people had a hand in bringing down the economy. It is people like the Giudice who are to blame for WORKING people having loans much higher than the value of the home. THEY INTENTIONALLY COMMITTED FRAUD.
They are walking around looking fabulous on someone else’s dime. DO you know how many working, honest people could afford to pay their mortgage but got denied for their first house?

MARTHA Stewart went to jail for 5 months making false statements so I HOPE T&J go to jail as well. This is too serious to be ignored.
Not only are they 11,000,000 millions in debt, they intentionally hid 250,000 dollars as well. They tried to get away with robbing the bank. I am glad the trustee investigated.
Other housewives may be broke, but I don’t think they are 11,000,000 dollars in debt and still spending like the 11 million don’t matter. In the OC, Tamra was honest about her debt and DOWNSIZED; she didn’t add on to her house to make it bigger.
Teresa is trying to run competition with her SIL, but she is looking stupid right about now.

Question. When you file for bankruptcy like T&J have … any money that they make, do they keep? Or does it go to pay their creditors?
This really makes me angry, as I have lived within my means – even WAITED to buy a home because money wasn’t right and at the time, I didn’t trust the way the person was telling me how EASY it would be to take out an ARM loan. I told him no, didn’t want it, and I waited. Anyhow, I have no sympathy and only wonder the lessons they have already taught their daughters. I remember my Mom and G’ma scrimpin and saving…saving SAVING … what will Gia remember?

Tacky’s and Barney’s BK is HIGHLY unusual because of all the amendments and wrangling back and forth.
Anyway, when they filed their paper, and from this recent filing, one of the questions asked was, (paraphrase) “Do you expect your income to increase in the next year?” or, in short, “Do you expect a jump in income once you file this BK? They put “no”.
For regular people, most don’t see their income going up. It’s hard to say though for Tacky and Barney because they NEVER FILED TAX RETURNS. So, in essence, they really can’t answer that question at all because what you declare to the IRS is what is considered one’s income and of course, they didn’t file personal tax returns. They had these LLCs all over the place and each and every one should have a tax return and from those they can be paid an income. Then, from that income they file personal tax returns. In the filed papers it says the Joe just took draws from the LLCs whenever he needed money. However, that is taxable income and he needed to file a personal return.
Then there’s Tacky co-mingling her personal income along with her website’s income. IRS hates co-mingling.
Anyway, even if their BK is not denied, I honestly believe they have a even bigger problem with the IRS and I just can’t imagine that they, or Barney, haven’t known about that for a few years.
Jail time? Who knows? I don’t think their going to keep that big house though.

For me, Danielle, is the one I would steer far away from. There is something truly mentally wrong with her. There’s her criminal past (abet a long time ago), her stalking the Manzos, her very weird relationship with her children and her willingness to subject them to her outrageous behavior and criminal friends, and her constant need to be cast as victim.
As for Tacky, her problems all stem from money, greed, and spending. Since I don’t have much money, there is nothing I need to fear from her.

T&J are not role models for anyone. They have delusions of grandeur and T has evidently been spoiled since she was kid. Joe doesn’t have the b**** to keep her in check or just doesn’t want to and he is a lousy business man. They are not the first or the last people to not declare all of their income and assets on an official document. I am not excusing their behavior, just pointing out that, sadly, they are part of a large group who do the same when greed and living high becomes a life goal.
Danielle, on the other hand, is a different animal. She is truly, seriously disturbed. Someone posted here in the past that she has the classic signs of a sociopath and proceeded to note those symptoms. They all fit Danielle. But, she is not good at covering her tracks and when she gets called out on her malicious mischief, the best she can do is talk around the question and act the outraged victim. Her relationship with her daughters is dysfunctional to say the least. What Danielle considers normal interaction with her kids is sad and it screams it is all about me. She can’t even compliment her daughters on their achievements without pointing out that she raised them so she should get just as much credit. Don’t even get me started on the sex tape and how “open” she is with her daughters about everything. I am getting sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

I believe you’re referring to the money Teresa made and spent (i.e. $60,000 and $10,000 for interview). Her attorney advised her to spend the money instead of putting it in the bank. Most people (except her attorney) would say this is “morally wrong” because she owes money to her creditors. If she puts any money in the bank, I believe, there could be a lien put on her account/account frozen and money could be used to pay creditors. For the record: I do NOT condone her spending $60,000. Didn’t she just say she learned her lesson? If she had any morals she would have use that money wisely to pay off some debts or the debt on the house, etc. Instead she used it to buy curtains and furnish the house. That’s stupid…aren’t the household goods still being auctioned off? She just doesn’t have any sense. I guess that’s what got her in this mess to begin with.
It seems like a theme that “celebrities” are going to jail. Teresa is NOT a “celebrity” but thinks she is. That being the case, I guess she will spend longer in jail. I’m sure the inmates will love her “Skinny Italian” meals. When Martha Stewart went to jail she taught the inmates arts and crafts.
I missed her on Wendy Williams this morning, when I turned to watch the women were playing a game. Teresa’s facial expression did not look pleasant. I guess I’ll have to watch it online to see what went down.

#120 and #123, I respectfully disagree about DD being “worse” for one reason only. Guaranteed, she is certifiable, I feel really sorry for her daughters and anyone who personally gets involved with her, but she has no impact on me or us past watching her on this show. Chewbaca, on the other hand, is a common thief who is robbing us all and will impact all of us, in one way or another. Anyone who claims personal bankruptcy without stopping unnecessary spending (yes Teresa, headbands and leopard are not necessary), minimizing essential spending, downgrading their car and/or home and really showing the courts and society they have changed and will direct any other “windfalls” or other cash going forward toward past debts are nothing but common criminals and should be treated as such. Until bankruptcy laws are changed, unfortunately, too many people abuse this law. IMHO.
In my opinion, T & J are infinitely worse than Danielle.
Danielle is a sad and damaged person. I look at her and I see a woman who was abused (and I am certain she was) and became warped because of it. Some people are born with the psychological strength to take a tough beginning and turn it around–and become well rounded and whole (I came from a terribly abusive past and I am whole and successful today). Just as there are some people who are physically stronger, there are some who are psychologically stronger–Danielle is not one of those people. Her early life warped her into a sad, paranoid, and delusional shell of a woman. I feel sorry for her.
But Teresa and Joe are GARBAGE (to take Caroline’s words). They are truly scum. They ripped people off all the while knowing they were doing so. Teresa had to have known she was in financial trouble when stores started rejecting her credit cards. There is no way that even a MORON like her wouldn’t know.

Jeez, I don’t know if that’s a compliment or a dig, Exposed. And let me just tell you, it’s hard to be a Kelly. Those few times I channeled Kelly for some laughs here it took a long time for me to figure out what to say and how to say it. It was a lot of work. @110 Exposed-Ocean Beach is the an off leash dog beach in San Diego. There are several but we loved this one.We stayed at a dog friendly motel almost right on the beach there. Awesome beach for the dogs. If your pet loves water they will be in doggy heaven.

Teresa is such a fraud. I really wonder if Bravo will keep her on the show. Are they going to tape her going to court for the next few months? Her auction that she is trying to convert to a private auction? Or her and Joe going to jail? Bravo may not want to get involved with all of this. This is serious and who knows how much deeper this will go.
I do not feel bad for Joe or T at all. Who goes on national TV and spends $100,000 in cash on furniture? You know that something illegal is going on there. I was watching a previous episode today of the RHONJ. It is laughable. Teresa lies like crazy during each scene. She says one thing at the beginning of a scene, and complete contradicts it by the end. I’m mostly referencing the CC scene with Danielle.
Caroline and Jac were not friends with Teresa before the show. Dina is awol on her now. I don’t see the other two sticking around either.
