What’s a Bravo housewife to do when most fans of your show despise your guts and no one bought the book you released months ago? Well if you’re Jill Kamen Zarin (yes she’s doing the three name thingy now a la Kelly Killoren Bensimon), you just keep on trucking!
Like her or not, Jill Kamen Zarin has some major products to push to you. First up, the Real Housewives of New York City star recently released her own bedding line sold exclusively at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It features 4-piece bedding sets in black-and-creme (with sapphire blue highlights), rust-and-red, ivory-gold-and-black, and dark plum.
According to TooFab, Jill is already planning her next collection (Why wait to see if your first one is a success?). Her current line starts out at $180, with one of her comforter sets named after her daughter Allyson. Photos of Jill’s bedding line below.
Jill is also planning to expand her non-existent empire by tackling next a shapewear line. Women’s Wear Daily reports the line of slimming leggings and garments will be called Skweeze Couture by Jill Zarin.
“I’m obsessed with looking my best, and I wear Spanx, but there’s no competition out there,” Zarin told WWD.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON JILL ZARIN’S BUDDING EMPIRE?

Is that a sample she’s wearing? Good GAWD!
Beddding aint bad.
I would not waste a dime of my money on anything with Jill Zarin’s name on it. She likes to claim she is a business woman, but she is no more than a leach who attaches herself to successful people to make herself appear better than she really is. First it was her husband’s family business Zarin Fabrics. Then it was that silly book with her mother and sister. That book would have probably been a hundred times worse than it is without the help of her sister who is a truly smart woman. She tried to attach herself to Bethenny, but that backfired on her.
With all her money, she’s not a tastemaker, not a fashion trendsetter, and not the least bit interesting.
it’s not bad looking… just not my taste. as much as she can rub a person wrong, i can’t really fault her for trying. better than what most in her social circle do (e.g.-trunk shows, handbags, jewelry). that and $180… i’m sorry, i can go to target and find something similar for $49.99 if i really wanted to. from what i can see with those women, they’re trying to establish their own identities away from their husband and children. but that’s just my 2 pesos.
It seems she listened to Bethenny and got herself a hobby.
the bedding is not bad, but I wouldn’t pay $180.00 for it and probably wouldn’t buy anything with her name on it but not bad at all.
Oh~this actually surprised me when I read it. Jill was being interviewed about her bedding line and stated that she can make it so affordable because she has it made outside of the USA. Hmmmmmm.
Well Well Well didn’t Bethenny just say in an interview that she was developing a shapwear line??? Jill Jill Jill ,I guess she does not consider Bethenny competition. Flexees, BareNecessities, Kymaro Body shapers and Spanx.com is considered no competition either. Wow what an ego this woman has.
She’s totally Endora!
I think the bedding line is nice, but it looks like something that has already been done.
These women need to hawk alcohol (Vodka, Gin, Beer in KKB case) becuase that is a product you know they really have A LOT of firsthand experince with. St. Johns Wort is another product that I could totally see these women hawking.
The bedding is not bad looking but, I wouldn’t spend $180 on it. I think TJ Max and Target has better prices.

The bedding is as boring as she is.
I think the bedding is cute too… but I would never pay that much for it… .I’m more of a $50-75 a comforter gal myself….
I agree the bedding is boring and she has no idea of what a competative market she’s entering into. I think she is just lending her name to the product. Nate Berkus on WWH remarked more or less that this yenta’s design esthetic sucks.
I like the bedding a lot and I spend way more on my bedding. I wouldn’t buy Jill’s line just because it’s her line. The woman is a great business woman but she lacks good moral character and for me I can’t see fattening her pockets.
Wow, the bedding looks nice. I would buy it, I may even buy one because it’s time to put new linens on our guest bedroom.
She has good taste. I admire her work ethick considering that she is married to a rich guy and doesn’t even need to work.
Jill looks like the suntanned old lady from Something About Mary, the only thing missing is Ginger the nose licker.
She admits to wearing Spanxs but then says they need competition…why would I buy her shape line if she (the creator) even admits Spanxs are good enough for her? That’s bad marketing
@18.. MAGDA!!!! heheh..
Although I am a college student and could not afford her line, I can say I am a fan of her bedding, especially the last set. She has worked in a fabric store for a long time and it does take a lot of work and talent to design like that. I don’t think it looks like anything at Target and even if it did it doesn’t speak to the quality of it.
I agree that her bedding line doesn’t look bad at all but WAY overpriced.I got my queen set from target for $99 and it was an eight piece with a few throw pillows and looks like it is near the same quality.I don’t know why on earth anyone would pay that price for what the her sets give.
I think her bedding are okay but not my style. I know that her husband owns a fabric store. I won’t be surprised if she uses same fabrics from her husband’s fabric store for her bedding line.
Actually $180 isn’t bad price for luxury bedding. I have seen many different luxury bedding lines that worth more than $300. I personally won’t buy any bedding from her until she cleans up her acts (which I doubt it). One thing I have to give Jill credit for it: create something else to start a new line instead crappy skincare, clothes line, and songs.
I’m actually friended with her on facebook so I saw her bedding a month or more ago posted by one of the fans who bought it and I have to say, the Allyson bedding is really cute. And the prices are decent too.
I think the bedding looks good. I like the black/cream one however, I wouldn’t spend that kind of money on bedding either. My mom tho, she would, lol!! If I were to show her this, my guess is that she’d go right out and buy a set even tho at this time, she doesn’t need new bedding, lol. That’s my moms. She loves to shop and change things up every now and then.
I’m not a fan nor do I dislike her so if she made it more affordable, I’d buy myself a set. By affordable, I mean in the $50 range. I feel the same when it comes to Martha Stewart. Not a fan nor do I dislike but I happen to think her prices are far to high.
Just my 2 cents….
tacky! i wouldnt put this on my bed if jill zaaaarin the crazy annoying “socialite” gave it to me for free.. which would never happen because she loves money… even though I do love to splurge on good high thread count sheets that costs more than this. Bed Bath and Beyond made a big mistake
Bed, Bath & Beyond is a big deal for her to get, I would imagine she will make a lot of money off of that.
The bedding looks nice, I would buy it.
I’m thinkin’ she’s using her maiden name now to get us all used to it for when she divorces Bawbi so we’ll know who she is. And I agree the bedding is actually cute but I wouldn’t give her ONE DIME of my money after the way she treated Bethenny.
Good for Jill! I like her! So she and Bethenny are not friends anymore. Relationships fall apart all the time. But I wish the best for Jill. She is a good person and I am not one of her home girls. I live in Alabama! We must remember this is the same Jill that allowed Bethenny to stay with her in the Hamptons. Bethenny got Jill in trouble with Ramona on the tennis court with Alex & Simon. So I said good for Jill she should use her fifteen minutes of fame just like everyone else has done and make money too! Go Jill Go Jill Go!
I smell a divorce simmering… introducing the maiden name after all this time already in the spotlight under just the married name.
Please, please, please do not start calling her jill kamen zarin. So annoying. I guess props to her for getting a hobby, but it’s not that cute (or at least not my taste) and a bit overpriced.
That shit is fug, like something you’d see at a Marriott Courtyard. You know, trying way too hard to be schmancy, but doesn’t quite cut it.
This bedding collection is very ordinary. Jill has no taste-either in her home decor nor her clothing. This was probably designed by one of the designers at Zarin Fabric. It is not special in any way and the line probably will not succeed.
Totally agree w/phoebe that Jillous is channeling Endora–that was my initial reaction to the photo. I’m not fond of retro clothing or design, & seeing the decor in her home, & what she did for Alex, makes me think this girl’s taste is all in her mouth. No, I wouldn’t buy the bedding, as I like things light & bright.
I would never buy it after hearing her brag about having it made overseas to keep the price down. There is enough unemployment in this country, we don’t need to support sweat shops in asia. Buy American!
The bedding is ordinary…you can see things like this in BB&B, Target, TJ Max, etc..nothing special. The only thing “special” about it is Jill’s name.
And speaking of her name….I agree that the birth name is coming out because there is a divorce in her future and soon she will drop the Zarin..and I think it will be Bobby who initiates the divorce. Who could live with her??
Of course we all know Bethenny stayed with Jill at her Hamptons home. You think this was charity from Jill? This was Jill wanting to have an awesome, fun girl hanging with her. It was a control issue for Jill and of course like the snot she is, she threw it back into Bethenny’s face as soon as she had the opportunity. Everyone knows they’re not friends anymore; best decision Bethenny made about Jill, period. Jill has issues & you can’t tell me the show is edited. It was all there for us to see. I just absolutely glow when I see Karma bite someone right on the ass for being so nasty.
@ missy a – LMAO!!! Jill’s look is not youthful at all! Will she be designing kaftans next?
Looks like she’s trying to fill a niche for those who can’t afford Croscill except at the outlets. Good for her. Can’t speak to the quality though. And I have all the bedding I will ever need in my lifetime. Maybe Jill will make a come back. People can change.
I would rathers go into the store and have one made up…..I’m used to haveing my comforters, bedskirts etc. made to order. I live on the west coast, but there store looks like it has some wonderful fabrics.
I will never buy anything by Jill period.
