A week after MTV aired an episode of their mega hit show Jersey Shore, which showed Sammie “Sweetheart” Giancola punching boyfriend Ronnie, Sammie is now expressing remorse for her actions.
The drama began when the off-on couple went out to a club on last week’s episode, and Sammi saw Ronnie talking to a female, which led to a jealous rage once they got back home, and later on a punch in the face.
TMZ caught up with Sammi and costar Deena Cortese on Tuesday in NYC (same day the above picture was taken) and when asked about the altercation with Ronnie, Sammi revealed she’s “appalled and disgusted” at herself for punching him, adding that the whole thing was a “low point” in her life.
Deena also chimed in stating “violence is not the answer.” According to TMZ, the Seaside Police is not planning to investigate the incident unless Ronnie presses charges, which doesn’t look like is going to happen.
As for the current relationship status between Sammi and Ronnie, the two broke up again just two weeks ago following reports that Ronnie was creeping at a nightclub. No word of whether or not they’ve gotten back together again… for the umpteenth time.
And yes, pictured on the far right with Sammi and Deena is Teen Mom star Maci Bookout. According to the HollywoodLife, Maci, 19, hung out with the Jersey Shore stars on Tuesday, as the trio enjoyed dinner and drinks. No word on why Maci was in New York, though it was likely to meet with MTV. The latest issue of Life & Style magazine also reports Maci got a recent boob job, going from an A cup to a C cup.
And finally, a new episode of Jersey Shore airs tonight. On the 6th episode this season titled ‘Should We Just Break Up?‘ Snooki meets a guy, but he may or may not be engaged, Pauly makes peace with an old enemy; and Ronnie’s hard partying takes a toll on his relationship with Sammi.
The all new episode airs on MTV as 10/9c.
