Another day, another legal drama involving former Real Housewives of DC stars Tareq and Michaele Salahi.
This time around, it involves celebrity Montel Williams. TMZ is reporting Montel fired off a cease and desist letter to the Salahis for using his name to promote their winery without his permission!
While it was reported that the Salahis were auctioning off their winery yesterday, it turns out that auction is actually for their Oasis Vineyards company and not for their actual winery — the Oasis Winery. In fact, the gruesome twosome are planning a reopening on Sept 24 for the Oasis Winery.
And this is where Montel comes in. The Salahis listed Montel as one of their celebrity guests for the reopening party which was news to Montel.
His rep tells TMZ, “Montel doesn’t support the Salahis, doesn’t know them and did not give them permission to use his name.” The event organizers also falsely announced that Montel’s MS Foundation is involved with the event. Wowzers.
A cease and desist letter was fired off to the Salahis yesterday which demanded they stop using Montel’s name and foundation. Both his name and foundation have since been removed from the website.
And in usual Salahi fashion, they are claiming there was no wrong doing on their part, first telling TMZ they were not aware Montel’s name was even on the site.
Fast forward to today and the Salahis are now claiming they are not the ones behind the charitable event, you know, the one being held for the reopening of their Oasis Winery. Michaele claims, “The website Montel Williams is referring to is NOT a Salahi website. We don’t get involved with what customers of our winery do or who they invite.” Right.
Oddly enough, Tareq gave the Rumor Fix blog this statement about the event yesterday: “The Oasis Winery is in fact reopening on Sept 24 and it will be a very exclusive private party for our good friends in Politics to family/friends and long time supporters of the Salahis before & after the White House dinner party.” But apparently the event is now one of their customers, and not theirs.

Probably in the minority but I always like Michaele Salahi. She keeps a positive attitude even with all the negative media attention. Her and Stacy were the only nice ones on RHODC.
These poor poor Salahi’s…Somehow, they are always the victims. Nothing is ever their fault. What losers!
These two lie so much if they were to tell the truth NO ONE and i mean NO ONE would believe them. Why haven’t they been prosecuted for the entire white house incident? I mean we do have bigger issues but maybe if these two spend some time behind bars thinking of why they do the things they do maybe just maybe they would get their act together.
They all need to get real!

I guess Casey Anthony learned from the masters – she can’t tell the truth either. The three of them are PURE evil trash. Jail didn’t do anything to change psychosociopath Casey Anthony – in fact she considers herself enough of a “celebrity” that (once found not guilty – notice I did not say “exhonerated” for she will never be) she took the hairpins out of her hair, slung it over her right shoulder like Paris Hilton, and walked out of the courtroom, telling all of us to kiss her ass.
The only One who can deal with Casey Anthony is a Higher Power…she will never “get away with it”…and we will all see it unfold.
The psychosociopathic Salahis will not change until a Higher Power -not the U.S. government, not Montel Williams, not Tarek’s mother – deals with them in a powerful, undeniable way . Just like Casey Anthony, O.J. Simpson, Teresa and Joe Guidice, certain politicians and others who have heartlessly taken advantage of others and thought they had gotten away with it, it will take God’s intervention.
Remember the murderer O.J. went for 10 years a free man, but Nevada nailed him on a much lesser charge – for more years than punishment for 2 murders would have brought! God is so good and loves irony!
The Salahis are like shite on the bottom of your shoe….you can never get rid of the smell! They are both under the scrutitny of law enforcement and are looking at jail time. Any bowling alleys need “Stars” for an opening?

This is one of the reasons that I didn’t watch the DC Housewives and one of the reasons why I think that franchised tanked.

As an avid and huge fan of RealityTea.com, I propose there be no more articles or even mentions of the Salahis. These people are such trash and the lowest of the lows, they DON’T deserve the free publicity that RealityTea gives them. Positive (doubt there’s any of that) or negative, no one should post anything about the Salahis. All they want is attention and we are freely giving them ours.
Another point i that ALL stories about the Salahis are the same. They do something wrong, stupid, or completely low, get called out for it, and they make up some fabrication/lie. Its the same thing over and over again and frankly, I’m BORED OF IT

I don’t understand why people still support the Salahis. I’ve read comments on this website that describe Michaele and Tariq as (I’m paraphrasing) a couple with positive attitudes who never trashed others. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I realize, but how can you say that?
Remember Lolly Amons? Tariq and Michaele both spread lies about Lolly saying she stole a vehicle and polo equipment, then posted evidence on Facebook, and was under investigation by the FBI. That’s slander in my book.

And their lies become even more grandiose! I can’t believe how truly compulsive these two are at lying, they’d lie about what they ate for breakfast. Someone posted something yesterday about that event and the password being MTV. I checked it out and saw exactly where they posted about Montel. They also stated that a portion of the donations would go to helping out those with MS. How much do you want to bet that that means Michaele? They’d end up keeping every last red cent they earned from that event if anyone was stupid enough to pay to go.
