The Duck Dynasty cast gets a big raise!

It's no surprise that the Duck Dynasty cast would want a big raise from the network, as the show has been consistently blowing up the ratings – and viewer numbers continue to climb all the time.  Their reruns bring in more viewers than first airings of any Housewives series in the franchise.

The cast – 9 adults and 11 children – will be getting 4-5x their original paychecks.  Deadline Hollywood reports that members of the Robertson family will be raking in $200,000 per episode, which will be split among the show's stars.  No word on how much the side players are paid – like Mountain Man, Justin Martin, and John Godwin.  Things are a little unclear as to which family members are included in the $200,000, as rumors swirl that the main Robertson men are each earning a large chunk separate from this.  So, it's possible the $200,000 is split between the side characters, wives, and kids.

In other Duck Dynasty news, Willie Robertson shoots down rumors that he's considering a run for office, but the bearded one doesn't rule it out for the future!  "Yeah, I mean, I'd consider everything.  But you know, at this point in my life, I'm really busy. Maybe we can help the country in some way, get these guys to be more efficient and all that. I don't know. I don't think now is the right time but who knows about one day?"  He'd have my vote!

Don't forget that Duck Dynasty's fourth season kicks off tonight on A&E and Lauren will be bringing you the recap tomorrow morning!
