Kendall Jenner has been making quite the name for herself in the world of fashion. She has walked the runway for fashion powerhouses like Chanel and Marc Jacobs and landed in the pages of Vogue Paris.
But her latest fashion campaign for Givenchy has been leading some to believe her sister Kim and brand new brother-in-law Kanye West may have had a little to do with landing her the plum modeling gig. You see, Riccardo Tisci, is the creative director at Givenchy and also happens to be besties with Mr. and Mrs. West. They are so close, in fact, that Riccardo was responsible for custom clothes for their wedding last month.

Both Riccardo and Kim Kardashian are thrilled that Kendall has landed the gig — regardless of if she had any help or not. Kim Instagramed the above photo of Kendall — far left — with the other models featured in the ads.
Perhaps we really are just jumping to conclusions. Kendall has never really given us any signs that she is nothing but a professional model. According to Katie Grand, who styled Kendall for her debut shoot in Vogue Paris, "She's unique in wanting to turn her back on her celebrity when it comes to modeling, she's with a smaller very respected agency called Society who work specifically with high end designers, photographers and stylists. It would have been easy for Kendall to go with a bigger agency and gone down a celebrity route but she wants to be taken seriously as a model just like the rest of them."
And although, I think Kanye West would do anything for any star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians if asked, would he really come up with this on his own? Does he really spend that much time thinking about anything other than what a genius he is?
Kendall's new brother-in-law spoke at the Cannes Lions Creativity Conference where he dropped some priceless gems.
Among them, he claims that the photo of him and Kim kissing in front of the flower wall at their wedding — the most shared and talked about photo on Instagram ever — took four days to edit in order to get it ready for the social media site. Yes, FOUR days!
He even claimed that the stress of editing the above photo, almost ruined their honeymoon. The horror!
Before I go I have two more Kanye gems for you from the Cannes conference:
“I’ve been brought up in this way—I think I can't work with anyone that isn't number one: Jay Z, Kim, Obama, Apple is one, Samsung isn’t.”
"Bad taste is vulgar. The world as a whole is f–king ugly. And the Internet too. But I'm not in the construction business.”
Props to Kendall Jenner on her modeling career, but perhaps she should only take help from Kanye as far as modeling connections go and tune-out any public speaking advice he might be willing to share.
